Walk to the beach, watch the sun set from our upper level covered porch and enjoy the quiet end of Isle of Palms from this family friendly duplex home. This spacious home features a renovated kitchen, spacious living room & seating areas and tiled floors throughout. Take advantage of the six miles of wide beaches, fishing, kayaking, boating and eco-tours on Isle of Palms by day and enjoy the fabulous foodie & cultural delights of downtown Charleston or nearby Mt. Pleasant or Sullivans Island at night. Historic Charleston is a 20 minute drive from the home and the beach is a 2 minute walk from the house.

Upon entering the home you will find a sitting area, the master bedroom, a guest bedroom, a bathroom and the laundry room on the lower level of the home. On the second floor, you will find the renovated kitchen, living room with French door access to the covered porch, two guest bedrooms and another bathroom. Guests are also welcome to utilize the covered patio with outdoor seating area outside the front door. Off-street parking on the driveway for up to 2 cars is included in the rental rate.

Please note that this is a side-by-side duplex unit. The other unit in this duplex is also available for rent. If both units are available for your selected dates, then you may rent both homes for your next multi-family reunion or friends' vacation and sleep up to 20 people in the whole building.

NO PETS; NO SMOKING. Tenant must be 25 years old. NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. You may not exceed the maximum occupancy at any time — day or night. A couple of short blocks walk to the beach, lovely porch, kitchen and living area sufficient for the number of guests in the home, clean house and comfortable beds and linens, good proximity to Charleston, excellent and responsive communication from host. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect for families

We had a blast for fall break! The short walk to the beach was perfect for our family with small kids. Loved having a washer and dryer as well! We would definitely consider staying here again!

Isle of Palms - Perfect Family Getaway

House was perfect and only 2 blocks from beach! The kids loved the outdoor shower! House was very clean at arrival, and had beach towels which helps! I enjoyed the welcoming wine and cookies that was really sweet. We enjoyed our stay here and would deff return.

Wonderful Stay!

Wonderful stay for 6 girlfriends! Great location - easy walk to the beach, short drive to restaurants in IoP and Sullivan’s Island. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses. Showing up to brand new couches was an added bonus!

Great bachelor trip!

We had a crew of 9 guys stay at Carolina West for a week long bachelor trip. This house had everything we needed and is the perfect distance to the beach and to night life and amazing food in Charleston. Thanks to iTrip and VRBO for such an easy booking experience and for exceptional communication.

Overall the property was what was advertised. good location and decent amenities. I would Stay at this property again. If there is one thing I would suggest bring your on cleaning supplies and some extra towels and wash cloths because what is provided is minimal but overall our stay was acceptable.

Nice beach rental

We enjoyed our stay. The house was nice and roomy. Great for families or a group of friends. Well equipped with cookware, etc. The beds were comfortable! A few basics for cooking would have been nice (spices, olive oil, etc) but we mostly ate out. Good location!

Perfect vacation

My family and another recently stayed in this duplex. I love that short term rentals are allowed. The location was a very short walk to the beach. The house was clean. The ckeaning supplies and toiletries provided will cover you for more than a day so you won't have to rush to the store. I would absolutely recommend this home.

This house was perfect for a girls trip! There was plenty of room for us, the beds were comfy, everything was clean upon arrival, and the house had everything you’ll need. Steven was very nice with the booking process and the check in/out process was very easy! The location was perfect! A very short walk to the beach and only 20 ish minutes to get downtown or to Shem Creek! I would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in IOP!

I booked this place to stay for a wedding the price was very reasonable so I wasn’t expecting anything special but I have to say it was very very nice my only complaint is the walls could’ve used some paint but it was very very clean and quite I will book again other than isle of palms 2 car policy it was great

Very easy walk to the ocean!

The duplex was mostly clean. We appreciated that the sofa and loveseat appeared to have been vacuumed. We loved the walk to the beach. It seemed closer and easier than in the owners description. Loved the outdoor shower!! Because we didn't stay for a whole week, we decided not to cook. So glad we did. The kitchen is on the 2nd floor not making it an easy trip to the grill. Not really bad, just inconvenient. Also, the kitchen could use a few more cooking and preperation items. The king mattress in the primary bedroom on the 1st floor needs to be replaced. One side of the bed sinks in badly. We did not contact the owners after booking because we didn't have any issues that we felt needed to be addressed ASAP. The owners gave us very good information prior to arrival. Overall, I would say it is a great location, clean and mostly comfortable.

Relaxing and Spacious

Great spot for a family vacation

I visited IoP with my family in September and stayed at Carolina Breezes West. The location is very close to the beach, just an easy two minute walk. The house was well stocked with beach gear, including chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some family meals together. All in all, it was a great place to rent for a family vacation
