"All of North Hero Island is a vacation-within-a-vacation. We loved-and needed!-this break from the stress of every day life, and we're so glad we found this unique place. We especially enjoyed the perfect 180-degree view of the lake from our screened-in porch, a comfy king sized bed and great shower, and the delicious complimentary breakfast. Our only real issue was that because we arrived after 11 pm and everything was tucked in for the night, we had trouble locating the entrance in the dark! (It's on the side, toward the back.) Perhaps a small light over the sign would keep other night owls from having to tromp around in the grass with their suitcases, searching for the right door. The Pier Bar just next door to our cottage was also a happy surprise. Highly recommend this cozy, unforgettable place!"

"The room was clean and comfortable, but it was a bit over priced. For the price they should offer some kind of breakfast. The staff was excellent and very friendly. They changed our room from the second floor to the first floor upon request and we mistakenly left our computer at the motel, someone found it and returned it to the office and they kept it safe until we could return and pick it up."

"Excellent stay for price! Only complaint is loud exit doors slamming throughout night/ morning. Would be nice to install quieter closing doors or at least put sign up to give friendly reminder to avoid allowing door to slam shut."
