and calmest water. Great food. Best staff. All of them were friendly, kind and helpful. Hot plentiful big clean showers. Peaceful island. Many restaurants. Affordable seafood. Only caveat was that getting there took four flights including a layover in Managua."

Great location right next to one of the best beaches on the island and many dining options and bars in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend Rosa Del Mar!"

"Overlooking the ocean, theres a deck to relax on the hammocks or rocking chairs and see the view. The center of town is 10 minute walk but along the way you can buy bakery goods, take a detour and take the scenic route around the island."

"Pretty property run by two lovely sisters from Toronto. Unfortunately, the property fails on some core missions. The "comfort double rooms" feature rather ascetic bedding and are not really set up for more than one person: the interior shutters and the bathroom door swing into the room making it very tight if not impossible to navigate at night. Also the cabins are poorly built for this climate; they are very hot and don't have any airflow or hot air ventilation. The overhead fans don't provide...

"These guys take care of everything. Make sure you book the ocean front with the plunge pool. Not all bugaloos have pools. The hotel pool is gorgeous too and the entire island is a photo op. Gorgeous. Snorkeling is decent. 2 big Nurse sharks and a stingray. Lots of tropical fish. Beach is gorgeous food is great! Definitely plan to return soon."
