"This is simply the best place to stay in Lytham St Anne’s. The rooms are lovey, tastefully decorated with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is perfect, everything you could want to start the day the right way. The best thing though is the staff. Each and every one of them provide the finest Lancashire Hospitality and this is what sets it apart from other hotels and bnb’s in the local area. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The icing on the cake is being a dog friendly place to stay, knowing we can bring our dog just makes it a fantastic experience. Thank you to Sue and all the wonderful team at Howarth House. "This hotel is absolutely amazing, especially if you have kids. I stayed there around 15 years ago, before I had my own and thought it was awesome but having been back recently, it’s even better than I’d remembered. They seem to manage to keep the place looking pristine, despite all the kids who visit 😂. It’s modern, comfortable and very clean in all communal areas and the rooms are just as lovely. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, they couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed two nights as a family group of 8, across 3 rooms, for the Santa weekend from 12-14 December. We enjoyed two delicious breakfasts and the kids enjoyed the visit from The Grinch on Sunday morning. We ate in the bar on both evenings of our stay and I would say this is one area which could have been better, as the food wasn’t hot either night, it was luke warm at near. The entertainment on the Friday was better than the Saturday but the kids had a ball regardless. We all enjoyed swimming in the pool, although with small children, it could have been slightly warmer. All in all, we honestly had the best stay and can’t wait to return. Well done to all management and staff at the hotel, who really make it a fabulous place that people want to return to and we wish you all the most wonderful Christmas! "
