We wanted to be a bit closer to Key West when we came from the Miami Airport - we didn't want to travel from MIA to Key West on the same day we came in. "This was our first time at Cheeca and I booked the weekend trip for Father's Day. My husband and I brought our 5 year old with us and there were so many on property activities for him. The weather wasn't the greatest our first two days but there was still plenty to keep our little one busy. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Our room had the bathtub on the patio and the room was spacious. We were very impressed and look forward to going back!"
