Love that it is located right on the beach. The pools are tiny but why swim in the pool when you have the beautiful ocean right there? The food was excellent. Felt safe and overall a great experience

The hotel was a little far from downtown, but it’s a great location if you looking to relax it’s excellent the staff was really helpful in every way. We love our stay and we definitely would go back to this hotel.

The property is well maintained, the beach is absolutely amazing and the location is perfect if you want to be in the quieter part of the island without being awfully far from town. The staff is great and very attentive... Thank you Vanessa, Franco and Alberto for helping with the booking of a couple massage, the golf cart rental and with suggestions and directions to visit places on the island. Thank you Leonardo for taking care of us during breakfast and catering to us with drinks and food while enjoying our days in the beach. We felt like VIP watching the sunset from a privileged spot in the sand while drinking margaritas and mojitos (it is a must!).

Everything was excellent. Communication, service, cleanliness, attention to detail. From the private door-to-door transfer coordinated by Franco at front desk, to the welcoming environment, and the friendly, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable staff at the restaurant. José and Leonardo always attentive to our needs. Chef Ricardo shared a great story about huevos motuleños during breakfast. The location is great. You can get anywhere by walking along the beach. Food is really good, cocktails are amazing. Facilities are spotless clean and the rooms are comfortable and quiet, so we had incredibly restful nights. We woke up refreshed everyday. Everything about our trip was remarkable and our whole experience in Holbox was wonderful mostly due to the quality of our accomodation Gracias!

It is clean and everything is new. The rooftop pool is great getaway for adults. The free breakfast part needs improvement. A few items on the menu for the free breakfast were not available when you try to order them. It takes a while to get the food which would be fine if they had more than one fan that blows only on one table. It needs more to keep mosquitoes away and keep the air circulation because there is a big wall next to it which blocks the breezes. Overall it's a great property and considering it's new I'm sure these minor issues will be resolved. Would I recommend this hotel ? yes.

Enjoyable stay, but lots of room for improvement

Service needs work. I’d feel better going with the flow if I hadn’t been paying so much. Our family of 4 stayed in the “deluxe suite” which had a pull-out couch for our pre-teens. We were initially provided no bedding for the couch and not enough towels. Had to request these items multiple times before receiving them. They never replaced our towels—bath mat was soiled and beach towels were gross after three days. The suite is also located right at the entrance/office and staff would have loud conversations right at our window early in the morning. The noise from maintenance issues was also disruptive. One night someone was sawing into concrete until after 9pm. They were also doing construction work during dinner on Valentine’s Day. Restaurant servers desperately need training—like the servers had never eaten a meal before or had coffee, not bringing utensils or sugar/milk to the table until everything had gotten cold. It was essentially self-serve if you wanted these items. They would be well advised to invest in some fans at the restaurant, as the wasp situation at breakfast was out of control. One woman got stung on the mouth while she was having her breakfast. We ended up taking our food to our room after that. The negatives aside, we loved the setting. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly, consistently good. The beach is small, but quiet and a great place to take in the sunsets. Facilities were clean.

This was our second time in Holbox, for our honeymoon and wanted to stay somewhere a bit fancier, this was not that. Check in was frustrating, asked for an upper level ocean view and got an extremely obstructed view. The room had mold on the bathmat so we showered without it on the rough cement floor. Never could have more then 5 minutes of hot water, could barely wash my hair without freezing. AC and fridge and tv amenities worked good and were nice to have. Cleaners were quick and efficient. Our room was located by the beach club which was very loud. Could hear the music until 9 or 10pm and as early as 7am. There was always some kind of banging during the night. Beds were extremely hard and even harder pillows. Breakfast was just fruit, a hard piece of toast, a cookie, granola and a tiny bowl of yogurt, if you wanted eggs it is extra, which were very bland. We went elsewhere for breakfast most mornings. We ate a few times at the restaurant Fragata, they didnt have sushi available most days. Small portions for the price and pretty bland. The drinks however were great, especially the Margheritas. The beach was pretty clean, the lounge pills were very comfortable and well taken care of. Property was kept clean. Staff could be a littler more friendly and attentive. Pretty disappointed in our stay especially for our honeymoon.

Todo hermoso, la ubicación está un poco alejada del centro por lo que es muy tranquilo. Hay que ir preparado con repelente para mosquitos ya que al caer la noche salen voraces, esto en toda la isla, para tomarlo en cuenta

Pues es un hotel en una isla, no hay lujos pero está súper bien ubicado, muy bonita la playa que tiene el hotel, yo creo que la mejor de todo Holbox, llegas caminando por la playa a playa cocos en 8 min. el centro queda un poco lejos pero si te gusta caminar haces 15 min caminando, hay una tienda muy cerca llamada la cabaña y tiene de todo más elevado su costo de lo normal pero se entiende El hotel muy limpio, el desayuno muy aceptable El costo del bar es algo alto pero así es todo Holbox Si regresaría
