"Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Ich wurde freundlich empfangen. Auch der Kontakt über Fewodirekt war freundlich und informativ. Von Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, kleiner Spülmaschine, genügend Decken, Putzmittel etc. ist alles vorhanden. Sogar Tee, Kaffeekapseln und Toilettenpapier war genügend da. Das ist selten in Ferienwohnungen. Die Klimaanlage ist super. Positiv zu erwähnen ist auch , dass das Ein- und Auschecken ohne Vermieter über einen Schlüsselsafe möglich ist.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Umgebung erwandert und würden gerne wieder kommen, da es noch viel in der Umgebung zu entdecken gibt. "Sehr schöne, helle und großzügige Ferienwohnung in hervorragender Lage am Rande des Ruhrgebiets. Gut gelegen für Ausflüge in die Städte bzw. zu anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten, aber auch in die Natur. Ruhige Anwohnerstrasse, wunderbarer Blick über einen geplegten Garten ins Grüne, ins Ruhrtal. Alles sehr sauber, Küche gut ausgestattet. Problemloser Check-in, unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit den Vermietern. Keine Kritikpunkte, wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Very cute half timbered inn with a busy bar/dining room full of locals and visitors. Good food and excellent service. Because this is an authentic property, you hear everything from the creaky floors to the noise from your hotel neighbors and the dining room downstairs. Narrow twisting stairs (no elevator) made luggage a challenge. Bedding was scratchy and unpleasant and they did not provide a blanket for our 3rd person in the room."

"My wife and I stayed in Haus am Stadttor for two nights in August 2025. We absolutely loved the place. It is perfectly located and very comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a short or long-term stay. We slept like babies in the comfortable bed and enjoyed the quiet, though the house is located a very short walk to the altstadt. Mathias was also very friendly, welcoming, kind, helpful and flexible. He let us check in early and allowed us a late check-out. All-in-all, a great stay!"
