"The place was perfect for our stay! From the front desk helping us with ordering tickets online, to having all the accommodations we needed on the premises. The restaurant/bar food was good, bed was comfortable, the grounds were clean and fun! We had a great time and plan to be back again with our friends! The only suggestion I have is to put overhead patio heaters outside so when the restaurant is full the patio is heated. Otherwise, we loved it!"

"This is such a cute place. It's cozy and the rooms have been updated, there was a TV, fridge, coffee machine and toiletries. We checked in around 8pm and ate at the restaurant. The food was really good and the staff was very kind and helpful."

"We were amazed at the beauty of this location. The “Cabin in the Sky” is charming and well appointed with everything we needed. The cabin is obviously well loved and cared for. It’s quite the treasure. The town of Index is rich with local history and a testimony to the hard work of those who preceded us. Then there’s the mountains!! Must have taken 30 photos at different times of the day. Will enjoy editing them and sharing them with friends and family. We were very impressed with how well the owner communicated with us, making for a problem free arrival and departure. We hope to return sometime when those mountains are covered with snow."

"For a second year, this place was our base camp as we hiked the area! Peace, nature, and seclusion make this place special. The fire pit and hot tub were our favorite amenities. The process was smooth and the host communicated well. Hope to return again!"

"The property was gorgeous, the view alone was worth the price. If you're afraid of spiders however be on guard. I understand completely when staying in the mountains it comes with the territory however I was greated by the largest spider I've ever seen up close and personal the morning of checkout in the tub. I appreciated the house and the space however having to put back the few books they have in alphabetical order seemed like a bit much. Overall amazing view and the hot tub was welcomed after a long hike."
