Top Irish Whiskey Museum Hotel Reviews
The Trinity City Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough for the three of us, and overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, there were a few issues that were disappointing. The hotel has a limited number of rooms with walk-in showers, so if this is important to you, I strongly recommend calling the hotel directly before your trip to confirm and reserve one. Unfortunately, despite requesting this through Expedia and sending several messages to the hotel, we were advised by the hotel staff that it is better to call them directly rather than rely on the third-party booking app. I also paid for early check-in, but we still had to wait approximately three hours for our room and were only able to check in at around 11:00 AM. Considering that we had specifically paid for early check-in and had communicated our requests in advance, this was quite disappointing. The hotel food was very good. Especially the lunch and dinner. We did not feel the need to go to any restaurants during our stay! Overall, we enjoyed the stay, but the communication and handling of the early check-in and walk-in shower requests could definitely be improved."
The Mercantile Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Wow, what a great hotel! Amazing amenities. A fabulous breakfast including both made-to-order and buffet in a lovely eatery within the building. Friendly staff go above and beyond to meet your needs including holding our bags, directing us to a place to freshen up after an overnight flight, and bringing a sewing kit early in the morning - all with a smile. Yes, the room is small but it is better organized than rooms twice the size - a place for everything and everything in its place. Super clean throughout. A/C worked great and we slept well even on the second floor above the bar. They have some soundproofing that really works! And the price is right."
The Hoxton, Dublin
8/10 Good
"Very cool staff. Excellent location. Smallish room even by European standards. Nice bathroom. Small closet with no luggage stands was not good- ppl travel with suitcases, don't they know that? Car pickup arranged by front desk needs work- multiple guests = multiple cars = wrong drivers. I strongly suggest you tighten that system up."
Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Customer service from the reception ."
Point A Dublin Parnell Street
8/10 Good
"Front desk staff was helpful and friendly; having the option to check in early (for a small fee) was helpful for me as well. Great location; the hotel was central to almost anywhere I wanted or needed to walk to"
Clink i Lár
10/10 Excellent
"We were there for 3 nights and all the members of the staff were superb. Our double-bed room was small but very clean, especially the washroom and shower. The buffet breakfast that we purchased each day, for a very reasonable price, was terrific."
Wellington Temple Bar
10/10 Excellent
"Our favorite hotel of the trip"
Arlington Hotel O'Connell Bridge
10/10 Excellent
"We loved this hotel and the staff is first class, but…The take-away breakfast that we had to order because we had an early flight was rather lame. It was a white bread sandwich with one piece of cheese and one slice of ham, a bottle of water, a drink box of orange juice and an apple. There was jam included? Weird. Might want to rethink this."
Zanzibar Locke
8/10 Good
"The only thing I didn’t like was that if you were there less than 7 nights there was no housekeeping done on the room unless you paid an extra fee. Since we only stayed 6 nights we were not eligible."
