Dog friendly trolley with Peanuts Theme

"The peanuts Trolley at Brookledge is cute. It was perfect for our stay. The space is cute and clean. We had a grill to cook food. Also had a fire pit in our space perfect for s'mores. The trolley was spacious and the beds were comfy. It was nice to relax and unplug for the night. Looking forward to staying again."

"The host, Henry, is wonderful! Communication was great, he was very accommodating, pleasant, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will likely return. Be aware that this is a cabin. It is small, a bit rustic, but right on The Great Sacandaga Lake, with a great westward view. The beach is welcoming and pretty but not sandy. We would certainly like to return. Thank you, Henry."

"Property was nice. We didn’t use the hot tub (which is in a separate building). Host was very responsive and provided great restaurant suggestions. We traveled back and forth to Saratoga Springs several times (about a 25 minute drive) and honestly did not pass one grocery store so best to pack any perishables you might need. There were however, lots of amenities provided - paper towels, toilet paper, bath products, hair dryer. Only negative was a slight pet odor that was noticeable. Property was clean and we Would definitely stay here again."

"This property is a real gem. The location makes it easy to visit areas from Saratoga to Speculator. The beach is a large space with both shade and sun making it easy to spend the entire day and even felt very private. (The stairs to the beach are open risers and, while not so steep that it was an issue for any ages, our large dog was unable to climb them and we had to leave her at the house which was disappointing). I noticed some people commented about the road you have to cross to get to the beach. It was NOT an issue AT ALL. Even with small children and lots of gear. *note to owners: it would be great to have the hedges trimmed slightly to enable a better view of the lake from the beautiful screened in porch! This is a place we would all highly recommend."

South Shore Lake House Retreat

"We had a great time in our lake-side vacation. 7 adults were able to spread out in the spacious house. The beach had plenty of room for swimming and we used all 4 available kayaks. There was also plenty of dry wood for fires on the beach.One kitchen was large enough to cook for several people and was fully stocked. The second kitchen was smaller but was perfect for making coffee in the morning.One downside to the spacious house was that the Wifi was very spotty as to be nonfunctional. So if you are planning on doing work in the house, that will not be possible. Also at times the road traffic was very loud."
