For its price, I like the clean and refurbished room. The hotel also offered decent breakfast to showcase Malaysia’s multicultural communities. Suggest to offer Ipoh signature food for the breakfast :)
Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Kudos to the night security guard who helped provide us a parking space it seemed that the parking was full. Looking forward to stay again.
The staff where v friendly and checked us in early. The breakfast was ok, plenty of food but only warm. The description of the property was bad. The description said we could cool off in the pool, there's no pool, only the spa which is expensive to use. Also described the property as having ocean view, we assumed Ipoh was closer to the coast as it was our first visit, definitely no ocean view!!
The room was made up every day with fresh water and towels. The location was within walking distance from tourist areas and short walk to restaurant options.
Good parking.

Very nice staff. The location is good. The room was large and clean, but the furniture needs to be replaced. The breakfast was simple with limited options.

Room and toilet need to be upgraded as quite dated and stained. Breakfast quality can be improved as well. Staff are nice and location is good.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The staff were friendly, and the hotel breakfast was good. However, the overall hotel needs refurbishments. The room assigned to me during my stay was quite poor, especially the bathroom condition, and the air conditioning was not cold and needed servicing. On the positive side, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough for a one-night stay.

It's good for what it is, cheap. They try to be a 4-star hotel and they try to give you that feeling but of course, in the end, it feels like a 2-star hotel.
the breakfast and food overall are really good and cheap.
So if you are on a budget I recommend it, unless you need it even cheaper...
1, cheap hotel rates ,great breakfast, location convenient
2. toilet exhaust fan very noisy
3. aircon takes few hours to cool the room even set at 16deg and fan full blast.....
The staff is helpful and kind. The only thing I don't really enjoy is the shower. It seems to be broken as I cannot switch from bath to tower.

Nice small hotel. Staff were friendly, easy to checkin. Room was clean, cozy and aircon was in order. The toilet wall paper not so nicely done as wear off. Once you shower, the whole toilet flood with water. A bit of flies in the toilet, like those you find near banana. Toilet have all the things you need like toothbrush, hairnet, shampoo etc. Room was clean up daily.
Breakfast was good. Had Nasi Lemak, roti prata, noodles, bread with jam, coffee/tea, fruits etc. Go anywhere by grab was cheap average life 5 ringget
I liked that the hotel is well-maintained and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It was not difficult getting to the hotel too.
I'd prefer if the front desk staff were more knowledgeable about the dining choices near the hotel instead of giving a familiar place to them.
The bathroom floor lining seemed to be peeling off and at certain areas it felt slippery. The bathroom was clean nonetheless.
The staff at the restaurant can be better trained and organise the seating area better. Instead of saying, "You have to wait at the lobby," it is better to say, "Please wait at the lobby while I prepare / organise a table for you." The food choice was adequate and tasty.
Overall the experience was pleasant and I would come stay at this hotel again.

The location is pretty convenient to eateries. Eateries open late into the midnight (fortunately), such that we can hv late "dinner" when our coach arrived beyond expected time.
The 24hr convenient store was also near.
Eventhough the hotel is near these places, eateries and karaoke lounges, it was tucked slightly away from these noisy shops. And positioned facing away, hence the noise pollution wouldn't travel to the building.
The limestone restaurant (in the hotel) also served nice and decent priced food. Good variety too. Great for dining in.
- room provides ironing board, mini fridge, slippers, coffee, toiletries incl. toothbrushes, some international channels.
The negatives are:
- room has musty smell. Although it's clean.
- toilet seats cracked. So we can't use it, else risking being injured by it.
- shaver mirror looks like going to drop.
- they uses wallpapers for toilet wall and floor. Nice idea, but need replacing, as it's peeled.
- bath tubs needs proper cleaning.
- shower water flow was a little weak.
- my room 445 was below a function room. When the staffs were clearing up, can hear noisy dragging of furniture after the event.
- there's great priced spa in the hotel, use vouchers provided at hotel lobby. But the location was bad, opposite a lounge. Super noisy. Go there before 1pm, should be good.
