Staff was good and facility was clean. Area was kind of busy and crowded, but the overall experience was well worth the money - a good value. Shower was clean and nice as well, a bonus.

Good pricing and decent room for the price. However, there was a dead cricket in the bathroom, the coffee pot had a "spent" coffee packet left in it, the A/C probably needed to have the filter cleaned or replaced since it has a slight odor to it, and the caulking around the tub area could use attention. It is the small details that make a decent room at good price go from just decent to outstanding. Breakfast should be served until at least 10 am to allow late risers to get up and get moving. Other than the small items, the room was good - the staff was excellent and responsive. All in all, we'd probably stay here again in the future.

The property was neat and clean. Staff was polite and helpful. The room was decorated in a contemporary manner which was refreshing and contained all of the amenities you would expect as a traveler. The only thing I didn't like was the spotlights over each bed and the too bright nightlight that was on all the time. It would have helped for management to have a notification about unplugging the coffee maker to which the nightlight was attached and that there are switches on the wall that turn the over-the-bed spotlights off/on as, in all of my traveling, I've never encountered either one of these things.

It was a great place to stay 2 nights. They didn't offer any gluten free options for breakfast and the ice machine was broken. There was never anyone at the front desk to ask questions to. You had to ring the bell and wait until someone showed up.

We drove over 10 hours and once we got to the hotel we found it to be closed down completely. No notification or warning from Expedia or Howard Johnson. We are traveling with a dog and 3 year old and coming such a long way to find the hotel closed down made our travels very complicated.

Last time we stayed it was great, this time it was OK. We had a room with a really loud AC unit. The room had not been upgraded yet

We had a non smoking room for my kids and myself. Burn holes on the covers, room smell like smoke, bathroom was disgusting with hair all over and coffee pot was dirty from the last person who stayed in that room. Overall the room was very dissatisfying!
