Steps to Downtown Iowa City, Cozy and Colorful!
The hosts were so thoughtful. Stocked the coffee and snacks, bottle of wine, and essential travel toiletries (beyond the shampoo and conditioner). It was a great location to walk everywhere and space to spread out a bit.

Hyatt Place Iowa City Downtown
Breakfast was good, rooms were nice and new, staff was friendly. The bed was comfy, but the room we were in had pretty loud HVAC. It took a while to fall asleep as it had a low whine consistently. Otherwise no issues.

We were greeted by a large private security guard who stared us down and blocked our entrance to the front desk to check in! Not the experience we were expecting. It felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. I felt like if I would have said anything the guard would have stopped me and made me leave. Apparently, ...
