"Hotel and golf course stay was great, very out of the way place but staff (Enzo) made it a great stay taking care of everything. Course is in good shape but greens are a bit slow. Course knowledge is key here and my golf app helped a lot. Staff are all great and helpful "

"Very friendly staff, especially at reception when I arrived. Lovely decor and close to restaurants. Great breakfast."

"Ottima posizione, centrale, comoda e silenziosa allo stesso tempo. Nella struttura si può godere di una vista mozzafiato mentre si fa colazione. Personale gentile e disponibile. Mi hanno aiutato con la scelta di un ristorante per la cena e si sono resi disponibili anche per la prenotazione dello stesso. "We really enjoyed our stay, and Franco, the host, was very kind and accommodating with our requests. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a pet-friendly property, and the owner’s dog is free to roam around the property. The dog is very friendly and well behaved, but if you are scared of dogs, it’s worth being aware of this before booking."

"The property is very clean"

"Great location. A wonderful experience."

"So close to everything you want in town. They helped arrange a tour for us too…do it!"

"The staff was so friendly and helpful! Communication was superb! The location was great. There were three restaurants within a short walk and we found free parking reasonably close. We arrived late due to car trouble, but the staff gave us great directions with a video. We had to carry bags a ways including some stairs, but staying in the Sassi was worth it."

"The hotel was amazing. It was well appointed and beautiful. Being a former cave dwelling made it very unique. The staff was wonderful, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely we would definitely come here again."

"We stayed for only 2 nights! We had an absolutely amazing time in Matera. Giuseppe greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us some recommendations. We felt right at home. He provided some waters and a ton of snacks. The “Family Room” was beautifully decorated and clean. We would 100% recommend!"

"The room was clean and the owners were excellent explaining everything to us! Parking was difficult but once we found a spot we stayed there and walked everywhere!"
