Beautiful accomodation with personalised service

A lovely traditional room with a sloping ceiling and a comfortable sitting area. The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a drink in the lounge area and enjoyed talking to owner. Nice breakfast which was cooked to order. Only downfall was that you could not dine there and after a long day of driving had to head out for dinner

La struttura è sita al di fuori della città, un poco discosta dalla strada, e per raggiungere il centro è necessaria l’auto. Gradevole la location è piuttosto curato l’interno. Camera abbastanza grande ma letto Queen. Buona la colazione. Grande disponibilità da parte di Michael

Pleasant stay

Our room was clean and comfortable. Could do with some storage for toiletries. Home made breakfast was delicious. Our check in was a bit rushed, but the next morning Michael was friendly and helpful , suggesting a great alternative route for travelling south along Loch Ness, which we followed, beautiful. Thank you.

Fabulous stay in very well kept old home that has been maintained well. Michael the host was fabulous and very helpful for directions and advice. The breakfast was great and the location very peaceful in beautiful gardens. Thoroughly recommended!

Nice b&b close to Inverness, great owners

Had a bit of difficulty navigating our gpa and thus found ourselves needing some assistance; Michael the wonderful manager, easily guided us and welcomed us warmly shortly after. The house facade is one that you might imagine spotting in an early 20th Century movie and the rooms are nicely apportioned with large windows, letting in lots of natural light. Our room was cozy (and pleasantly warm-perfect for the rainy cool wealth) with lots of antique furniture but everything from the armoire to the bed linen to the shower were spotless. The bathroom was narrow but had a thoughtful rack for toiletries and my favorite item-a towel warmer! The breakfast was delicious and generous with porridge and a hot full Scottish breakfast. Michael was a lovely host and we were fortunate enough to hear some stories and tidbits from him over breakfast which added to the personal feel one often enjoys while staying at a b&b. Parking was free and once we had our bearings it was a breeze driving in and out of city center and many local sites. WiFi was free and fast. Our only complaint was that our stay was too short.

Great stay.

Very friendly and welcoming owner. Room very clean and well decorated. Bit surprised at blankets on the bed, not a problem just haven't slept under blankets for many years. Breakfast was well prepared, presented and delicious.

Like going home.

This stay was like coming back home for a visit. Michael was amazing, meeting us at the door and providing information about the local area. He served a wonderful Scottish breakfast (including the Haggis - try it!!). I would highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to my next trip to Scotland and hope their is availability at this location.

More of a B&B than a hotel. Nice breakfast.

Nice old building set in mature grounds, located in the middle of a housing estate. The owner of the hotel is courteous and he is the only staff member we saw during our stay, which gives the feeling that you're more in a B&B than a hotel. Room was clean, with basic tea/coffee facilities, 2 bottles of water, and soap x2 and shampoo x2 in the bathroom. A pleasant enough stay however we could have had the same experience for 30% less in a B&B.

Our Best Stay in the Highlands

Down a secluded gravel path, not far from downtown Inverness, this hotel was the best of the three that we stayed in during our week in the Highlands. Our host, Michael and his wife have really done a nice job decorating this interesting five-room guest house, and the landscape surrounding it. A comfortable bed, internet that worked, and a delicious breakfast. 5 Stars all around.

very nice and refined place

Nice bedroom, dining room for breakfast was very refined and the haggi served (coming from Dingwall) was the best I've ever had ! Michael is very nice and ready to help you in any way he can...(in my case: wild flowers identification in Scotland)
