"The hotel is well located for the city and has comfortable rooms. It is an older style building and our room needed us to go up and down a few steps even on the right level. The other side of the hotel seemed level so just beware when booking if this important to you. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection although on our last day it looked like a large tour group had just finished and they had cleaned out a number of items and it was taking a bit of time to restock. There is no car park but we found street parking easy to find within a couple of minutes walk. "

"This is a perfectly reasonable hotel. Customer service was in general tip top. Very clean, very secure. Inverness itself is not a very large city. You can see what there is to see in terms of historical buildings and good shopping in a day easy. Because the old town is so small, one is never too far away from the sketchy portions if you stay in old town. Our goal was to be out just a bit, but still walkable. This hotel was perfect for that. The rooms are a bit dated but are equipped with good, current TVs. I expect to visit Inverness again, and will plan to stay here again when I do."

"Was fit for purpose"

"Booked this stay for its Castle description for a special celebration. Everyone on the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Some may call this place ‘dated’ but imo it was elegant in a hunters lodge/castle-y way. Beautiful bathroom, large room and comfortable bed. Nicely appointed with 2 desks and club chairs and table with view of the grounds. Petted ponies and saw bunnies. Great food. Thank you Chef for the sweet treats! Thank you Joy for the nice room assignment. Thank you to Salil and Alison and to those that we didn’t know your names. What fun!"
