South City Accommodation unit 1

A brand new unit with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom modern kitchen, and a spacious living area to enjoy.

It also has doubled glazed windows and doors and has sound proofing in the walls in between units. It is warm and sunny and has a deck for you to enjoy a coffee on.

It has everything you need to cook your own meals and a TV with chrome cast so you can watch your favourite shows from your device on the TV screen. We also supply internet for your needs.

Our accommodation is very close to South City where there is a super market a variety of food outlets, bank, post shop and any time machines. It is a 5 minute drive or 30 min walk to Invercargill town center.

Also it is about 5-10 mins walking distance to Southland hospital

This accommodation will provide comfort for you while checking out our beautiful city as you visit our cities parks, restaurants, shops and much much more.

Invercargill is home to the Burt Munro challenge, the transport world motor bike and truck museums, the Tour of Southland and many other events

Unit is very modern and comfortable once we were able to open the locked door - this door needs to be fixed to be more user friendly. Luckily our neighbours were able to open the door for us. However we had a major problem in that the fridge was not working. We did pull it out and push the plug back in but still no action. This was a problem as we wished to keep milk etc for breakfasts and other meals. Kitchen appliances all new but rice cooker was an interesting choice of appliance - no drainers, colanders etc. Also the numbering system in the street was a problem and I think more specific details as to where the property is would help - eg second block closest to main road - Queens Drive I think. Once fridge is fixed and kitchen items supplemented would be a good place to stay.

It would have been helpful to have more plates, bowls, cups and cutlery so we could use dishwasher at end of day rather than washing after each use.

The accommodation is fabulous, and truly value for money. The booking is so easy , it is secure and safe with near by shops. Being able to have washing facilities and all the kitchen utensils with a full fridge and adequate coffee, tea and sugar commodities superb! I have used this accommodation 3 times, and will continue to book it for future events - and my whanua -family- love it. Our hosts are amazing for providing a quality accommodation which I would rate 5star. This is always the first place I look to book when I come to Invercargill.

Room 1. Clean, tidy, warm. Good location. The bed is no good. Bed needs replacing. Big dip in it. Also get an extra heater for each bedroom. Bathroom heater required too. Also, too much light comes through top of curtain rail. Curtains are block out which is good. Recommend owner stays in room for a night to understand it.
