"The property is old and needs a lot of work but in saying that it is what it is and the price reflects that. The shower, bed and wifi were all perfect which is all I'm after. The decor, bar, dining and games areas brought back childhood memories of family holidaying in the 70's. The potential for this place and location is great and I look forward to seeing if they get there."

"The room was quiet, tidy and spacious with a lovely view and effective heater. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful and reasonably prompt when assistance was needed. Although instructions were to wash your dishes, no detergent was supplied. The large bed appeared not to have had sheets changed as one side of the pillowcase smelt like sweat and there were a few head hairs between the sheets. Ignoring that, we were very comfortable."

The website advertises a public bar, bistro, and pool table, but none of those were available during our stay. They say there's an indoor pool but we couldn't find it. We would have asked reception where the pool was, but it wasn't manned, at all (the website said it would be). "We booked the deluxe king room. Well we got quite a surprise when we opened the door at it was soooo small. It had a microwave so I assumed when I was packing that there would be some crockery and cutlery but no, there was only teaspoons and cups! thankfully the bed was very comfortable and the towels (no face washer) were beautiful and soft and large."
