"The staff, including the restaurant are excellent. I can't say enough of the warm hospitality that was offered me throughout my 2 week stay.
The hotel is well situated to lively nightime food options, walking along the waterfront, and close to town. The hotel is a little tired, but it also had its charm.
Do yourself a favour and book one of the rooms facing the water - evenings on the patio taking in the ambiance are well worth the few extra $$ (versus a room with no balcony).

"We booked our stay for 10 days. The days flew by as we enjoyed our room, shower, fan, and proximity to the beach. Paea and her kids were so kind to us! "
"There is absolutely no staff in this property. There is only a Chinese couple who looks after this so called hotel. They don't even speak proper English and it is very difficult to converse with them.
There was no room service, no daily room make up and no room management at all. The breakfast was made by that Chinese guy who only gave me limited food in a single plate.
Absolutely pathetic place to stay. I will not recommend this to anyone."
