"The heating in the room wasn't working. It wasn't an issue as they brought us a really good heater however being able to dry some things on the heated towel rail would've been useful. Also hot chocolate in room would be good. Breakfast was awesome. Thought we were just getting a continental which would have been fine but we also got Cumberland sausages and bacon. Staff were really friendly and the room was so cosy. Would love to stay again. "

"We had a fantastic time at Inglenook Cottage. There was everything we could need on arrival, including a very detailed welcome pack which was great as we didn’t know the area too well, and some lovely surprises.The cottage was lovely and clean, and clearly extremely well thought through and loved by the owners. Bathroom and kitchen nice and modern, but with the overall character of the house maintained.We had 4 guests and it was the perfect size for us - the original character of the cottage means that a few floors are uneven and there are low ceilings and beams on the top two floors, but we didn’t find that a trouble at all. One of the best I’ve stayed in."

"House not cleaned properly, plug socket in middle bedroom hanging off wall, tv aerial cables hanging out wall in kitchen at fridge,leaking radiator in kitchen - reported to owner/management company on day 1 of holiday - no response. Had to put newspapers down to dry floor up, wall crumbling in corner of kitchen, paint flaking off numerous walls & in poor state of decoration. Have stayed in many holiday cottages which were all of much better standard - I would not recommend this cottage."

The cottage itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully furnished to a very high standard.The location is superb for anyone who loves the outdoors. Scenic walking routes begin practically at the doorstep, with stunning countryside views just a short stroll away. After each day’s walk, it was a joy to return to such a cosy and comfortable retreat, especially the log burner.Our host was exceptionally attentive and friendly, ensuring every detail was just right without ever intruding on our privacy. Their warmth and care truly enhanced our stay.We would not hesitate to return and wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful break in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
