"The resort is a perfect getaway for city dwellers. The resort nestles amidst the majestic middle Himalayas in the village of Saboo. The location is about 10km (15 minutes drive on a normal day) from the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche airport The cottages are well appointed, with lovely views from the verandah. "We didn't actually stay at Munna Palace, as the management transferred us to Hotel Malik Residency, next door, owned by same group. Munna did not seem ready or aware of our booking, and I think they wanted to make up for this and gave us a room with a view. This was after the promised airport shuttle did not arrive. Again this was because the (absent) owner, who agreed to pick us up, did not tell management. This kept happening in India. Otherwise the room was very nice. Bit cold. It was below...

"I had an incredible 4 day stay at Leh Stumpa. The establishment is run by a very caring and loving family. I was well taken care of for any needs I had right from accessories to arranging taxis and transportation. Despite so many food options nearby I exclusively stuck to their fresh delicious home made breakfast and dinner (even though my stay rate didn’t originally include those) which had new options daily.
Please don’t let the (comparatively) low hotel rate mislead you - this is a top...
