This space is packed with amenities! The perfect blend of modern and vintage vibe, this mid-century modern inspired spot has that quintessential 50's and 60's era look with a modern twist. Dip in the pool and sunbathe in the in-pool lounge chairs or have conversations with family and friends near the sunken firepit. Play some table tennis or foosball or have a nice movie night and make some popcorn from the antique-style popcorn maker. If you are in need of some alone time, chill in the orbit chair or work on your social media posts in the WFH office area. If eating out is not your desire, whip up a special meal in the Full Kitchen, complete with mixers, blenders, waffle-makers and an espresso maker! We provide the first few basic items for kitchen and bathroom supplies but for any additional supplies, your group must purchase at the neighborhood store nearby.

If guests want to heat up the pool or jacuzzi spa, contact Host for an extra pool and/or spa heating fee. There is a pet fee of $150 per stay up to 2 pets(small to medium-sized) maximum and a fully refundable pet deposit. Pets are NOT allowed to swim in the pool! If this is violated, a $500 Pool Cleaning Fee will be charged to the Guests. Pool is remotely controlled and schedules for Spa Heat and/or jets are requested ahead of time. Water feature turns off when Spa jets are on and vice versa

Stay at the Monroe

Our party of 10 had a fantastic time while staying at The Monroe House. It was spacious, having 3 bathrooms was everything and we loved having the game room in the garage. There were a few small bumps in the road, but for the most part, Lea was easy to reach and was helpful. The pool and jacuzzi heating situation is a bit confusing at first and there were A LOT of remote controls and only half were labeled. But none of these things kept us from enjoying ourselves. It's a great place to stay.

Beautiful home with a great floor plan, but could be better equipped.

Overall we had great family time. The backyard was a hit with everyone. We loved relaxing in the spa and the little ones loved the pool. However, some things need attention that could have made our stay better. First, the kitchen is not well-equipped, and the items that are there all need to be replaced. (Fortunately I brought some of my own knives and cooking trays.) There were not enough towels, so we had to wash towels. There were a few extra towels in the hall closet, but they had stains and appeared to be cleaning rags. So more towels and better towels are needed. There is a camera in the backyard that monitors the pool/spa, so it felt like we were being watched. (Is that even legal for a VRBO?) And constantly having to communicate with the host when we wanted the pool/spa heated and to what temperature was inconvenient and took away from our family time. The additional cost for heating the pool/spa in the listing is per day, so the heat should have been on during our entire stay. And lastly, I feel that 1-ply toilet paper for a house this nice is just cheap, as is watering down the soap and body wash to the point that they don't work. But again, this house has the perfect floor plan for our growing family. We loved being under one roof and on one level.

Indio beautiful house review

Our group really enjoyed our stay at this property for coachella. We enjoyed the fire pit, pool and hot tub. It was relaxing to go to the property after the show. Lea the property manager was also very communicative and helped accommodate us. We hope to stay again soon!

Great home for large group

The house was perfect for our 16 person bachelorette party. Everyone had a place to sleep (and not on the floor), plenty of bathroom space and plenty of space to hang out. The Monroe was super responsive with all of our requests, even the midnight requests to turn the hot tub on! Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful home!

This home is very clean, and nicely decorated, exactly what we wanted. The Jacuzzi was perfect after we came back from dancing all night at the wedding reception! We also had fun playing ping pong and shuffleboard. Our family had a fun weekend. Thanks again!
