It was a great getaway and peaceful. We enjoyed shopping in Nashville, amazing dinner at Hard Truth and mouthwater pizza from Brozinni's. We can't wait to bring our kids back for a fun stay and trails!
This property was exactly what I was expecting and hoping for. I highly recommend for those looking to get away while not being too far away from restaurants and stuff to do. Great time at an awesome place!!!
We were unfortunately unable to stay, but hope to book it again in the upcoming months. Property looks gorgeous and spacious with lots of activities to do there and close to near by attractions.
We very much enjoyed a secluded view of the woods. Only disappointed that there was no salt in the house when we got there. We got some, and left it for good luck.
Beautiful location and setting. Gorgeous view from the master suite. everything worked properly. Very well stocked kitchen Lots of DVDs and books to enjoy was a nice added touch. my adult kids and husband loved the basketball game
This home is gorgeous! We have stayed in many rental homes( 50+) and this is one of our favorites. The decor is high quality and calming. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable and an awesome shower in the spacious master bedroom.
Our favorite spot was sitting on the deck looking into the quiet woods. The drive is steep and all bedrooms on the second floor.
The property is very spacious, the kids really enjoyed the pop a shot, air hockey, and hot tub. A couple suggestions to make this a more inviting rental: - power wash the deck, it was very moldy and slippery - deck furniture was completely missing; a huge, beautiful deck with nowhere to sit- TVs in the bedrooms is a relatively low cost higher end amenity that is appreciated.- management company told us the hot tub towels were provided, but there were only 2 towels for a 6-person rental -
My fiance and I stayed a weekend to celebrate our recent engagement.
We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of this house.. It was only a 20 minute drive to get to Little Nashville to enjoy the shopping and eating. The house was very clean and homey. My only complaints would be the TV in the main bedroom was very old and outdated and we could not figure out how to get the disc player to work. The big TV downstairs was great but you had to use 4 different remotes to control it. Half of the solar lights on the deck do not work either. None of these things would keep me from coming back though, just suggestions for making the stay just a little bit better. I would definitely recommend the place and do plan to return with the family one day.
The home was beautiful and lots of space to relax and enjoy. I wish the deck would have had better lighting, and the house could use a good cleaning that would be my only issues
Loved this getaway. Everything was amazing just had a few suggestions for hosts on having lights outside, safer rails on steps inside for kiddos and maybe replacing some of the pots and pans that have been damaged. Would stay here again either way!
House was clean and in a quiet, wooded area. Beds were comfortable, and the house had plenty of games, cards, etc. We stayed in the middle of a 100 heat advisory, and the a/c was off when we arrived. Contacted the host, who sent a HVAC technician within a few hours who discovered the breaker had tripped. Host kindly checked in with us multiple times to make sure everything was resolved and still working.
The house is older, but beautiful. I would give this 5 stars if I could, but we did have an issue. The spindles for the stairs are not to code (I’m a contractor). Our 2 year old grandson fell through the spindles. Fortunately we were there to catch him. This should be rectified immediately.
Setting was very nice . Check in was easy although I never got a reply to my request for early check in. There are a few maintenance items to be addressed . Loud fan in lower level bathroom. Main level 2bd bedroom looking out the back of the house was hot and ceiling fan noisy. Very difficult to regulate water temperature in both showers . Some small fruit flies all over 2bd bathroom main level . Keurig not working.
Overall, it was good but would not be back. Upon arrival a man in a pickup was there and I asked if he was Eric, he mumbled maintenance and walked away never to speak again. I didn't know that he left. Now, I did see him fixing the fireplace upstairs, which I could not get to work. Just really not friendly, kind of rude.Nice home in need of a deep clean and some updates. Cobwebs were visible, countertop had bugs behind the coffee pot. It was just spot cleaned. The hot tub was good and the view during the evening was great. BUT at night the lights didn't work and my friend almost fell missing the step down. Again, it was ok but I expected more.
