Wonderful Location and Super CleanThe cozy studio lived up to its' name. We brought our bikes as the apartment was less than a block to the Monon Trail. We biked over 50 miles during our weekend stay (fantastic weather helped!). We also enjoyed the love seat (bar stools made a perfect side tables) while watching a movie one night. There are only two items I would change - the very small countertop and lack of blackout curtains. The counter was about five feet wide by only a foot deep (enough to hold a dinner plate), yet there was plenty of floor space to have a normal depth counter or a small two-seater table. Black out curtains would have blocked the outdoor lights that shine in at night and then let us sleep past sunrise.Lisa, the owner, was super responsive about the issue of plugins which give me migraines. Within a minute of entering the apartment I started to get a headache, found the offending plugin, removed it, and messaged Lisa. She sent out someone that night to put in screens so we could open all the windows (only one had a screen originally) to fully air out the apartment. She even gave us a partial refund to offset the problem which was unexpected and very appreciated. In fact she said she will stop using plugins in the apartment so future travelers do not need to worry. All in all I would happily stay there again. I would give the apartment five stars with the addition of small table or full depth countertop and black out curtains.
The property was clean and well stocked with necessities. Although, the address is on a busy street, the unit is tucked away and surprisingly quiet, especially inside the unit. The unit is small, but works fine for a short stay. The kitchen is actually roomy and the washer/dryer unit was a nice addition. Communication with the host could not have been better. She was very flexible and helpful. We would definitely stay again!
