3 acre Lake, Farm Animals Petting Zoo, Horses and Horseback Riding, Room to roam

The Cabin at Natural Valley Ranch was built in 2011 using Indiana White Pine Logs and overlooks our 3 acre lake. You will love having your morning coffee relaxing on the spacious wrap around deck. The Cabin has a total of 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. There is a wheelchair ramp to enter the Cabin.

Main floor has a master bedroom, half bath, library/sitting room, open concept kitchen/dinning/living space and a pantry with staples provided. Walk out basement with porch has a family room with pool table, master bedroom, bunk room, private bedroom, full bathroom. Top floor has a master bedroom, full bath, private bedroom and sitting area with a pull out counch. The ceilings in the top level bedrooms are open to showcase the beautiful logs.

The master bedroom on the main floor is wheelchair accessible. It has a large walk in closet, whirlpool tub, walk in shower with a wall mount head and a rain head.

Televisions are in all the bedrooms except the master bedroom on the top floor.

Visit our animal interaction area by the big red horse barn at any time during your stay. You may see Hank our free range pig walking around or sleeping inside the barn. We also have chickens and ducks roaming the property. If you would like to do a trail ride or arena ride for an additional fee please text Marie 3175093577

Swimming and boating from the dock, beach or boats. Life jackets are NOT provided.

Our 3 acre lake is a SHARED lake for guests from the Cottage at Natural Valley Ranch and our family and friends. Bring your own tackle and bait to fish for bluegill, crappie, bass or catfish.

We currently have a canoe, boat and a paddle boat for your use at no extra charge. These options may change depending on if they get damaged.

Perfect for our annual large family get away. grandma and grandpa loved the serenity, the middle schoolers ‘dug the vibe’ and the little ones enjoyed the open space to play and make a LOT of noise. Each kid caught at least one fish and we even got to enjoy the trails/horses. Enough space to all be together but not be on top of each other.

We rent this property every year for a famiy gathering, and it is aways fantastic. The house has plenty of room, and the open first floor makes it great for groups or families. The outside areas are also great. We will continue to go back.

We had a wonderful time at the property. Our grandchildren loved swimming and running around. House was big and allowed our family group our own spaces. Owner was very responsive when we had questions or messaged. Allowed us to check in a little early. Gave us a heads up when lake was being treated and let us know still ok to swim and fish. Staff at stable/petting zoo area super friendly & helpful. We did encounter a problem with a "pest" on our last day but owner was very concerned and wanted to know as much info as possible to remediate the problem. They were on it and taking care of it. We would definitely return.

Perfect getaway

This place is amazing. There is so much space for a large group. You feel very secluded. There is a rails-to-trails hiking biking/path that you can access off the property as well.

The owner was prompt on responding to any questions. The property was as described in the listing. Our family had fun playing, swimming and using the canoe and paddle boat at the lake. It was well stocked with kitchen items. We would recommend this property.

Perfect for our family!

This house is perfect for large gatherings. We were able to play games at the long kitchen table, we were able to take our annual family photos both sitting on the stairs and outside on the deck. It's a charming location with the animals all around. This is our second time staying here and we hope to stay here again next year. The owner is extremely responsive to all of my questions. An added bonus, this house is handicap accessible as there is a ramp going into the house and there's plenty of room inside the house to maneuver around in a wheelchair. We love it!

Great Country Living!

Such a great place to vacation with family! Lots of room and open spaces. Everyone enjoyed the roaming duck and cats, and access to a trail ride was awesome! The lake was so pretty, though had quite a bit of algae so we didn’t swim. All in all, a great experience!

Very nice cabin in rural swtting

We enjoyed staying together in one place as a group so we could eat meals together, plan day trips, play games and laugh. Our reunion group is from all over the country and we meet just once a year; this year to honor one of our last remaining WWII Navy veterans who lives in the Indy area. Mission Accomplished!

Beyond expectation!!

Wonderful place for a gathering! Fully equipped with everything needed, Very spacious, very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The private lake was the icing on the cake. We all want to come back next year! The only negative thing was the television in the master bedroom and the main floor wasn't working well, but I'm pretty sure it was something on our part. Chuck was a great host! Book now, I promise you won't be disappointed!!

Not quite there

The Cabin at Natural Valley Ranch could be an extraordinary facility. There are few places that one can house 15 people all in one place for a family reunion. So – the facility itself more than lived up to our expectations. However, there were a few issues that we wished we didn’t have to deal with: 1.We’ve stayed in a any number of VRBO venues, and there has always been an instruction booklet from the owners. Not so in this case, so we were left somewhat in the dark about any number of items. 2.There were a few maintenance issues that we felt were less than 5 star: Lawn not mowed, mining bee nests under the entrance stairs, no oars for the boat, broken drive train on the paddle boat, several services in the VRBO listing that were no longer being offered, guano (bat droppings) on the porch over the barbeque grills and deck, problems with varmints (probably racoons) getting into the trash containers, critters that ate the frozen taco meat left in the sink to thaw overnight, and a few other inconveniences. It wouldn’t take much for this to be an absolute 5 - star venue, but it isn’t quite there at this point.

A hidden gem

This cabin was everything our family needed. The kids loved the pond with the boats and the horses. We loved the campfire pavilion and the yard to run around and play. Only thing to note, on the main floor porch was a little dangerous for our 2 toddlers. They could easily fit under the bottom wire (honestly any child could) and fall 2 floors down. My last thing to note is the stairs going up to the 2nd floor are open backs and once again I was nervous for my toddler to climb the stairs himself. Overall it’s a wonderful place for large families to stay.
