"Looks like the property is being refurbished. From fresh carpet to modern furniture, to new bathroom to a comfortable bed, a new TV and USB charging ports everywhere and lovely LCD lighting. There’s not much to complain about. Thanks for a lovely stay! "

"Stayed here one night on a drive home from Death Valley National Park. The location was convenient to Hwy 395; reviews on Hotels.com were okay; and the price was good. The hotel looks to have been built 50 years ago or more, and never updated. Everything you need is in the room and works--window A/C, bed, desk, TV, mini-fridge, sink, tub and toilet. But the bed was uncomfortable and everything looks dingy and old. Having said that, arriving late in the evening, and being greeted by a friendly person at reception, I wasn't going to change hotels. I did manage to sleep through the night and was on my way early for home, glad for a place to rest."

"My daughter and i arrived a little after 10pm and the owner welcomed us with some water bottles and snack the room also had a bunch of necessities in the bathroom for us (makeup wipes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, even a comb). The attention to detail was appreciated after a long day of driving i didn't need to dig through my luggage to find anything. We saw the owner next morning feeding the chicken which my daughter loved ! Will definitely be staying here again on our next adventure :) Thank you !"

"The view from our unit was mind blowing. To see snow capped mountains so close and clear was exceptional. Very close to downtown so we walked in several times a day. Many places to dine with varied menus. We took sevrral long walks along the trails that are well marked. Very quiet area. The fans in the bedrooms kept it very comfortable at night. Loved having night lights in rooms to guide you in the middle of the night. Visited the old movie museum and went to dome of the famous sights. The other moving item we saw was Japanese Internment Camp.For a small town there is much to see snd do. We loved our 3 nights there. Well lit at night with solar lights and a fenced in area. You will not be disappointed."

"Doug was helpful and friendly on check-in. We loved the view of Mt. Williamson behind the motel. The room was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The towels and linens are of good quality and the beds comfortable. It was handy to be able to park right out front of the room to quickly unload. As with most hotels and motels along 395, it’s close to the road, but earplugs and the a/c unit drowned out the noise. A good spot to head out to Death Valley the next day. "
