Tucked beside Tahoe’s national forest, this beautiful chalet is the ideal basecamp for adventure. Ski 2,500+ vertical feet from the back door, unwind by the fire, cook in a chef’s kitchen, and stargaze from the deck with peek-a-boo lake views

With a steam shower, cozy work nook, ski lockers, and extra gear, every detail is designed for mountain magic—whether you’re chasing powder, groomer trails or crisp alpine air

Welcome to your alpine escape above Incline Village, where the forest meets the trailhead and adventure begins at your doorstep.

This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath chalet backs directly onto national forest land, offering unmatched access to hiking, biking, and over 2,500 vertical feet of skiable backcountry terrain — a rare, true ski-in/ski-out experience from your door.

The home unfolds across three thoughtfully designed levels, each connected by a striking two-story spiral staircase that’s as functional as it is sculptural.

The top level is home to the primary suite, tucked into a cozy mezzanine overlooking the main living space. Vaulted post-and-beam ceilings and custom finishes flow seamlessly into the en-suite bath, creating a serene and elevated retreat.

From the mezzanine, the spiral stair brings you down to the main level, where an expansive chef’s kitchen anchors the open-concept layout. At its heart: a fully stocked culinary space with a stunning 5x8' walnut island, premium appliances, and plenty of room to gather, cook, and share stories.

A workspace nook sits nearby — ideal for blending remote work with mountain play. This level also features a fireplace framed by warm, modern-cabin design, abundant natural light throughout the day, and views of forest canopies and the lake below.

Continue down the spiral stair to the lower level, where you’ll find two additional bedrooms and a large TV mounted above a second fireplace — a perfect zone for movie nights, kids, or quiet retreat. Sleeping arrangements include a double queen bunk room and a double twin bunk room, flanked by a brand-new bathroom featuring a luxurious steam shower.

Outside, the private deck is made for après. Fire up the grill, gather around the fire pit, and soak in the peace of the forest and peek-a-boo views of Lake Tahoe. It’s a tranquil setting — far from the crowds, yet just a quick 7-minute drive to town and local beaches.

For your gear, we’ve got you covered: ski lockers, on-site gear rentals, and parking for three vehicles make transitions smooth and stress-free — whether you're chasing powder laps, alpine sunrises, or crystal-clear lake days.

This home is for travelers who crave both comfort and adventure — a basecamp that delivers premium features, trailhead access, and mountain serenity, all year long.

Note: we are not ski in, ski out to local lift served mountain such as Northstar or Diamond Peak. The house is located at the top of Tyner in Incline Village with direct ski access to backcountry terrain and hiking trails
