"Nice property, but the self-check in process is odd and impersonal. I was reluctant to check in and have my ID and card scanned by a machine. We needed to get into our room by 3 pm to dress for an event that began at 4 pm. I called the property mgmnt co a few days in advance to ask about an earlier check in. I was told there was a possibility, told to call back that afternoon if our check in. I called at 2:30 pm that day and told no early check in. Rooms weren’t ready?? Thought they might be flexible, but not at all. When we arrived from out of town for a formal wedding we had to go to another family members hotel to dress. Disappointing they weren’t accommodating at all. Within 3 days of leaving there, the same credit card was compromised & used fraudulently for a very high dollar charge. This has never happened to us. Charge has been disputed and resolved after hours on phone with Visa. We question now if the fraudulent transaction didn’t come from this stay."
