Rustic, cabin-style home. The deck looks out onto the yard, so you can keep your children in sight while they are playing. There is a lot of room inside, and a big fireplace to sit around in the evening.

Sand Harbor, Kings Beach, and other State Parks are open and offer rentals for SUP & kayaks.

The Incline Village beaches are presently closed to the general public per Incline Village community board. You may read that Incline beaches are open to Recreation Pass Card holders and Punch Card holders - however, these cards are issued to residents and are not available for your stay.

Location and Size
Property is located a block or so from the private beach. There's not a significant view of the lake; the trees block the view but seeing trees out the big picture window is pretty nice. The area has little traffic. We did have a bear in the driveway one night while taking out the trash, but the bear was well-behaved and bounded away when asked. The home is large; we didn't need 14 beds but found it nice to have room to spread out. With beds on three floors, this place is great for multiple families. Kitchen is set up for cooking for a large family, but it is a little tight if three or four people are trying to cook together. The main room is really comfortable with the A frame ceiling and the large deck. The downstairs room with a queen and four bunks is big and it's where we went to stretch and do exercises. Nice to have that space. It appears this family has owned this place for a long time, so some of the furniture is dated and not quite up to IKEA-chic, but most everything is in good repair. They clearly do incremental updates, so you'll find a nice shower with a modern showerhead in a bathroom with mid-century fixtures and incandescent light bulbs. Quite delightful, actually. There's a decent market within walking distance on Southwood and the big Raley's is a five minute drive. The neighborhood is the wealthy part of Incline Village with a lot of *really* large homes so the density is low and it's quiet. WiFi covers most of the house well. Highly recommended.

The pictures are not accurate because this cabin its bigger than what they appear on the pictures I loved staying here my kids had a lots of space to moved around.

Selected property only because of close proximity to Burnt Cedar. They advertised walking distance .
When I found out we were able to get the passes after all to the Burnt Cedar Beach the people at Vacation station said the owner was not giving them out. They refused to budge even though I pointed out they were still offering them at a future date for there property (Oct4). Never got a reason why I could not get passes . Although the deck was very nice the home is dated. Customer service very disappointing. I talked to Incline recreation and they said I should have been able to get punch card from owner. I offered a number of times to pay for punch card. At the same time we called other properties to find out in in fact they were giving out passes as they advertised and they said yes. Don't know what was wrong with the owner. I have frequented Burnt Cedar for many years and never had any trouble getting passes from those locations. Also they advertised 5 bedrooms and it was only 4 bedrooms. Two twin beds in loft near piano and no door does not make a bedroom. Zillow list house as 4 bedrooms. Overall I enjoyed my stay with my sisters and there husbands.

Unsatisfactory experience with a Major of cleaning issue.
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at this property as we were expecting. First, the property was advertised as a NO PETS home and once we arrived to the place and went into the bedrooms there was LOTS of animal hair all over the bedroom sheets and covers in every single room. We then noticed that there was also animal hair over the furniture in the living room area as well as if nothing had been cleaned before our arrival. We contacted the property manager and at first we were told that this particular home was actually a Pet friendly home, but then we showed them that even the package of rules that they provided us with indicated that it was a NO PET home. They were very apologetic and offered to send a cleaning crew early next morning (it was already 5pm when we contacted them and all of their cleaning crew had been released by that time of the day). We had kids that were going to sleep on those beds (a 9 month old baby included) and have no pet at our homes so we had to do some washing ourselves the first night and went to bed late at night. The cleaning crew was suppose to arrive at 8:30 am and we had to wait past 10 am for them to finally get into the house to show them what needed to be clean. When we got back, the house had been cleaned from all the hairs from the beds and living room and areas where we requested to be clean; however, the water heater in the house was either turned off manually or automatically for some reason (we were in the house during a winter storm). We had no hot water to shower or wash our hands; it was past 6 pm and the property manager office was closed. We had to boil some water in the kitchen for the kids to shower and eventually found the water heater and turned on ourselves, but it took a while to warm up the water in the house. The house needs some remodeling and the rooms are spacious enough for 1 or two people (except for the one with bunk beds which is spacious and it also has a queen bed next to it). We stayed at the house for 2 days and our overall experience was unsatisfactory and will not be renting again.

Inaccurate description of the unit
The description of the unit was advertised inaccurately. We did rent the unit as there was Hot Tub / Spa however, there wasn’t one when we arrived. We reported the same to property manager and they removed it immediately from the add. The unit was also very old that required upgrade. It doesn’t justify the rent we paid as well as VEBO should refund the fee that was charged. I’ll also report to my credit card in the same.
