"We wanted to stay near Usa Shrine and Usa Station, so it was good location wise (5-minute drive to shrine, 2-minute drive to station) But from the price, we expected a nicer place. The room and onsen were quite outdated, but the staff was very kind and the food was good."

"Perfect for staying the night if you arrive late / depart early at Oita airport. Accessible on foot, easy to get to. Just bring a torch - part of the road is pitch dark (this said, you walk on the pavement, so trafficwise not dangerous)."
