"Stayed for a week in this lovely flat on the Rue du Rempart in Eguisheim during the last week of September. Very well equipped and cosy feel in a perfect location for access to the Centre of this lovely village. The flat was spotlessly clean and the owner met us with the keys and explained anything we needed to know. The new wine festival started our week well and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. "A very nice location (except for parking- though public parking doable) Unfortunately communication with owner was difficult as everything they wrote was in French- so some confusion as to their expectations for our responsibilities. Would be great if Vrbo could provide a translation service. Also, your age bracket is very broad with only having adults 18+. Senior citizens might have a separate category as their needs might be different."

"A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. "We enjoyed being able to step outside our door and walk the cobbled stone paths to the village center. The apartment was just right for us and was quiet at night. Parking was 3 euro per day in a lot just a couple of minutes away. Laurence and his father made sure we were happy. The village is very close to Colmar with a lovely, large old town with many shops. A trip up the mountain was a nice day as well."
