"So this property was beautiful inside and very clean, the location wasn’t the greatest, it was a little far from most activities we wanted to do but the place itself made up for it as it was very nice, clean, spacious, and a good deal price wise. The staff was also very helpful and responded immediately to any of our needs. "I initially had a good impression based on my pre-arrival communication with the hotel. I reserved two rooms and clearly requested that they be close to each other, but upon arrival, they were several floors apart, which was inconvenient. Unfortunately, the issues continued during our stay. The air conditioning was not functioning and there was an unpleasant odor in the room. When I contacted reception, I was told the problem affected the entire hotel and would not be resolved quickly. Additionally, both kettles in our rooms were not working. I tried calling reception for nearly 3.5 hours, but my calls were repeatedly ignored, and I eventually had to go down in person to get assistance. That said, the location is excellent, the breakfast was enjoyable, and the valet staff were outstanding and very helpful. However, based on this experience, if I visit Tangier again, this hotel would be my last choice."

"I can’t speak on how WELL we were treated at Fairmont. Selma was the BEST and took care of us so well. We really appreciate her kindness! Parisia the restaurant had good drinks and was DELICIOUS, we had the lamb and the chicken with a bed of veggies. Our room was GOEGEOUS and the breakfast had a lot of great options for food. I am actually changing my accommodations to come back to stay here when we Leave Marrakesh!"

"Travelled with my partner for a five-night stay. Overall, it was a decent stay. The location is excellent and within walking distance of most places. However, front-facing rooms can be noisy due to constant car horns, so it may be worth requesting a room on the opposite side. The room was a good size, housekeeping kept it clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioning was poor and never got particularly cold, even on the lowest setting. The hotel feels a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment. Some fittings were loose, paint was peeling in places, the shower head was dirty, and the bathtub was in need of a deep clean. Unfortunately, the women's steam room was out of order throughout our stay, leaving only the sauna available. Both facilities are very small, fitting only two people comfortably, and must be booked around 45 minutes in advance. Our most disappointing experience was on the final night. Reception advised my partner to join me in the men's steam room as the women's was still unavailable. We called ahead to ensure it was ready, but another guest entered and became angry, claiming he had been there first. Although I explained I rang Reception, he continued shouting, so we chose to leave rather than risk an argument and spoiling our holiday. Breakfast was average and could benefit from more hot options. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Overall, a decent hotel, but I would probably stay elsewhere next time."
