This is probably the best hotel we've stayed in. Worth every dollar. Staff were professional, attentive, spoke more than three languages, knew all we asked about the area, and offered amazing service. Food was varied, tasty, creative, colorful, and delicious. The hotel is lovely, and the staff provides excellent service. That being said, it was probably not what we were looking for. The vibe is a bit fancy/fussy, and the hotel is located way up on a hill far removed from the rest of Tangier. It’s not in a walkable location. This is not the fault of the Fairmont. We should have researched more and booked a more casual, nice hotel nearer to the water.

The service at this hotel was second to none. The rooms have every possible amenity. The spa was wonderful, and for the first time ever, I felt no one was watching a clock. It was over when the masseuse felt it was time, and I loved that. Dinner in the farm to table restaurant was not good, but the breakfast buffet in the same place was amazing! The hotel managed our cabs and ever our tour of the city. I want to return again, just to enjoy this beautiful hotel.
