Historic cabin from the 1860's, recently updated with all of the modern amenities to make for a comfortable, unique, peaceful stay. Located on 40 acres at Spotted Sheep Ranch, this cabin was hand reconstructed and boasts a living room, kitchen, king loft room, front & back patio, yard, and hot tub. Located less than 2 mins from more than 10 incredible wineries, a quick 8 mins to Johnson City, or 20 mins to Fredericksburg, this cabin is remote, yet convenient.

Hidden Gem

Fredericksburg - 30 Mins Away Johnson City - 10 Mins Away Marble Falls - 20 Mins away And this cabin is right in the the middle! The marble fire pit and hot tub are perfect for weather like this in December. Overall it was a very cozy and relaxing weekend for us and we definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect location

Gorgeous rustic feel and beautiful views. Was located right near every place we wanted to visit and kept us out of busy Fredericksburg. Easy to check in/out. Hot tub was very clean. Enjoyed watching the hummingbirds from the hot tub. Couldn’t figure out how to get the upstairs ceiling fan working, but there was a table top fan that worked for us just fine. Would love to stay again.

Cozy

Overall this was a wonderful stay. It was a modernized log cabin. It had everything we needed... towel hooks in bathroom, full length mirror, nice shower, and comfortable bed. My request from a female's point of view, is to have makeup mirror on the desk upstairs. Also there were lots of cobwebs. I'm not sure how easy that is to get rid of when in the country, but they were everywhere. I would definitely stay here again though!

Great quiet getaway in Hill Country

We always enjoy staying in the Hye area when staying in the Hill Country. We enjoyed our stay. Very tranquil, yet central to everything we were doing and going to.

The cabin was fantastic. It had everything we needed for a quiet stay in the Hill Country. We loved the semi-remote location. It was easy to find and convenient for our travels and just far enough out. Loved the added touch of a hot tub and the back porch was perfect for coffee in the morning. We enjoyed the birds and deer. Friendly, helpful hosts as well.
