"We stayed for 2 days with my family, we got a 2 bed and 2 bath overlooking the sea. The room is beautifully decorated & staff are nice. It’s near the busy street but you can’t hear the noise. You can swim in front of the beach. A lot of market place for grocery or eating around the area. Will come back again next time! "

"This property was full of surprises! From the bountiful flower garden, the unique stone art sitting areas on each floor, and the wonderfully outfitted rooms! But what was even greater than the full sea view from the balcony, was the hospitality of the host who lovingly maintains the property grounds, finds books in guests’ language from the borrow library and inquires about his guests’ experiences and adventures. I would not only stay again, but I would entertain a longer stay. LOVED IT!!!"

"Marilia is a wonderful host. We were were welcomed and shown everything we needed to know. The apartment was exactly as it appeared in the pictures, spotlessly clean, well-furnished and comfortable. There were lots of interesting places to visit within a short driving distance, and an easy drive to the Athens airport. I highly recommend El Mar Apartments for a pleasant stay in a lovely and friendly seaside town."

"Was a fabulous view across the sea, the apartment had all the basics you'd need and organising transfers was good, the driver was lovely and panos sorted all that out. We very much enjoyed the balcony, a couple of sunbeds would've been a brilliant addition. In order to get the views you are at the top of a very steep hill something to keep in mind if you're less mobile and no car. Plenty of things walkable and as we were the end of the season a fair few still open. All in all a lovely stay"

"Vi hadde et herlig fem dagers opphold på Hydra. Leiligheten var veldig bra, stor, godt utstyrt og med en herlig terrasse. Beliggenhet midt i sentrum, likevel var det rolig om natten. Eierne var veldig hyggelige. Vi kommer gjerne igjen"

"Wir haben im August/September drei Wochen Urlaub mit meinen Eltern in dieser sehr schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Vom Empfang/ Einchecken (Begrüßungsaperitif) bis zur Verabschiedung um 2:00 Uhr morgens lief alles perfekt, Thierry und Regine haben uns wirklich verwöhnt. Jedes unserer Anliegen wurde sofort behandelt. Den großen, wunderschönen Pool hatten wir für uns alleine. Die Aussichten von diesem herrlichen Haus waren zu jeder Tageszeit ein Traum. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Hospitable. Five stars. Maria and her husband certainly know how to take care of their guests. From the second I walked in with welcoming package is in wine fresh flowers picked aside the bed and Throughout the apartment. Checking on me to see if everything was OK and if any needs were to be met. I was even invited to go to a private beach with Maria which I did and spent a beautiful morning talking about life. I don’t know if there’s any other better way to balance privacy and an open door of...

"Loved the quietness of the island which made sleeping excellent. We had a room with a balcony (not many here) and enjoyed sitting, looking over the harbour and enjoying a glass or two of wine. The breakfast was served in a quaint dining area and had a great selection of items to eat. Will definitely come back here again. "

"There was nothing to dislike. The apartment was clean & the kitchen well stocked . It was nicely furnished & we really enjoyed the old pieces of furniture. The owner was very friendly & helpful. He also met us at the ferry & lead us to the apartment which we probably never would have found on our own. We were greeted each morning with freshly baked buns which was a real treat!"
