I didn't like it very much because they introduced a new policy that even if you are staying at the hotel, you must pay an extra fee to use the pools. This is absurd... This didn't exist in the past. In addition to the room, I had to pay 4 more tickets of $50/each for my family.

We understand your concerns and appreciate your patience as we transition under the new ownership. We have found that not all overnight guests utilize the waterpark. To create more flexibility for all of our guests, we have created a waterpark package that includes 4 park passes, and other packages that exclude the passes. Please reach out to our dedicated Front Desk Team and they will be happy to tailor your booking to what you are looking for! We value your loyalty and look forward to presenting our refurbished establishment to you in the future.

Absolutely not worth the money. They only have 4 slides and you have to be over 48 inches, even though 2 of their slides are extremely small. The hot tub is warm at best and if a kid goes near it they blow the whistle. Definitely will not go back. Do not waste your money.

They are undergoing a major multi-million dollar renovation and becoming a “Margaritaville” property. Having said that the value for the money paid wasn’t even close. For around $250 a night, the reduced hours for their water park (3-9 during the week) which wasn’t clear when booking the property, no fitted sheets on their mattresses, scrapers and paint falling off furniture, dirty hallways, leaking fridge, and generally more like a motel for $70-$120 in value, don’t stay here. This was a return trip for us (went there in 2021) and it’s gone so far downhill it’s laughable. They should close their doors until the renovation is complete. Save your money, stay at a nearby hotel instead and perhaps then pay the $50 per person to use the water park

The facility is very nice which makes it even more disappointing about our experience here. We booked this hotel for my 5yr sons birthday specifically for the water park. During booking there was no mention of the water parks new hours. So we checked in around 7:30pm knowing the park closes at 8 thinking it was ok seeing how we could use it the following morning. This was unfortunately not the case as they do not have the park opening anymore until 3pm. I was also extremely disappointed to see the cost of the park is not longer included in the price of the room. After the lack of efforts to remedy this situation seeing how it put a serious damper on my sons birthday I will not be returning to the cape codder.

The outside pool was not open and it did not say on the website that it wouldn’t be available it said something to the effect of come and enjoy our heated outdoor pool, that was the main reason we went there. Both times we went to the waterpark on a holiday weekend a portion of the park needed to be closed for up to 2 hours during the time of day we had allocated as pool time. This was due to the lifeguards needing breaks which I completely understand however it’s a holiday weekend why isn’t the venue staffed accordingly? And what am I paying a resort fee for if the resort isn’t available during the time it’s supposed to be open along with the outdoor pool. The reason for the outdoor pool closure was defined as weather contingencies to construction considerations. Which one is it because we have stayed here in November and February and it’s been open it was in the 60s this weekend on Cape Cod and it wasn’t available. I wish I would have known (though their website) that it wasn’t going to be available and I would have looked into other options.

I booked a room with 2 deluxe queen beds overlooking the Water Park. I arrived here and they only had 1 room with 1 King size bed, in an area of ​​the hotel that is under renovation. They provided me with 2 terrible twin beds that I had to put the mattresses on the floor for my daughters to sleep on. Totally disappointed.

the smell on the second floor smelled of burnt plastic. It could be due to the renovations but it gave me a headache. Rooms need updating and I know they are updating. I didn’t like the fact I still had to pay 50 per person (110 later) even though I was just watching my daughter in the water park area.

Do not use Expedia to book this place! Expedia said it was going to be $825.02 for two nights, it was not! It was over 1000. Also you have to pay $50 a person to use the pool a day( it is not included) The pool slides were closed for a large part of the day and the wave pool was also shut down making for some very unhappy people… room was meh, it was stained and sticky but the art work was nice. All in all I will not stay here again and I recommend that others book on a different website if they want to stay at this over priced no spa resort.

Staff at front desk were friendly as was the staff in the Hearth and Kettle. Rugs throughout the hotel were worn and dirty. My room on the 3rd floor had not been vacuumed found clothing tags on floor. As soon I opened the door to the room it smelled of chlorine during my 1 night stay with my granddaughters. Went we left our clothes smelled of chlorine in the car ride home.
