Edit has a backup generator, which powered the restaurant, shared spaces, heating etc. We were well catered for and staff put in extra hours to keep us comfortable. Roads were closed so fresh staff couldnt get in or out. Edit Hanmer went above and beyond during difficult times."

"Two weeks into our holiday, this is the loveliest place we have stayed so far. The owners were both so friendly and helpful, and the room was gorgeous. Lots of very thoughtful little touches. It was nice to be just off the main road and nice and quiet, but still very easy walk to everything. I can recommend this accomodation without hesitation, and if I am lucky enough to come back to Hanmer springs again I would stay here again in a heartbeat."
