Absolutely amazing place to stay for me as a snorkler / diver / swimmer. Amazing reef access just a short walk from the hotel.The accomadation is great quality, the staff are all fantastically helpful and attentive and the food is outstanding. I was really well looked after for my special dietry requirements. Great facilities - sauna, gym, bar , pool , outdoor games, yoga, free suttle service.

This was a great experience. Very helpful and nice staff. Easy access to the reef. Food was nice esp dinners. Laundry service was super fast (when we needed it for a wedding.) Did yoga too, that was fun. A lot of activities to discover if you have time. Too bad we went in July when it was too hot to go out and discover more. Compared to the other hotels around in the area it’s small and that was a great thing because as someone said “you need GPS to get to your room at the Kempinski”, The Breakers was just right.

An amazing hotel! My room was clean and seemed brand new. I had an ocean view. Breakfasts and dinners were great. The location right at the jetty was so great. Snorkeling and diving were right there. The staff was wonderful. I wished I had longer than 3 days! I would definitely return. And many people I spoke to had been going for years.

Great hotel, I would not go if I was not into diving the House reef is not the best, The hotels is best suites for adult and sport people. Not much for younger kids. But the diving is convenient, however the house reef is a not great.

Great for Kiteboarding (Non-Beginners)

Absolutely relaxing experience with everything taken care of - buffet breakfast and dinner is fantastic, great variety and delicious. Snorkeling off the hotel is world class. I would highly recommend for someone looking for a easy, relaxing holiday to focus on water sports and having all catered for. Do not expect cultural experience however, as the location is not made for this. Soma Bay is amazing for kiteboarding, but not suitable for beginners due to predominately offshore winds, i.e. you get dragged out to sea. While they have rescue boats to bring you back, the drift impacts ability for instructor to remain close and physically help you.

Ich hatte ein Upgrade auf ein Meerblickzimmer bekommen; besonders zum Sonnenaufgang ist das ein Traum. Das Zimmer war für mich als Alleinreisenden mehr als geräumig. Die Betten fand ich persönlich als sehr bequem. Das Zimmer wird täglich gereinigt. Das Personal ist durchgehend freundlich, dabei auch sehr unauffällig. Der Pool ist klein, aber ich bevorzuge eher Meer. Sonnenliegen und Hängematten sind genügend am Pool vorhanden. Es ist ein eher kleines Hotel und nicht zu vergleichen mit den anderen großen Hotels außenherum. Es ist für mich als Taucher einfach perfekt und ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Essen finde ich persönlich sehr gut und man findet immer etwas. Es gibt auch immer genügend vegetarische Varianten.

Wir waren zum 2ten Mal dort, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, insbesondere schätzen wir auch, dass ea die Möglichkeit gibt für Einzelreisende günstigere Zimmer zu bekommen. Wir waren jeweils mit einer größeren Gruppe da (mehr als 10 Personen). Man kann sich dort wirklich wohl fühlen, es gibt einen Steg zum Schnorcheln und auch viele Dinge in den Nachbarhotels, die man kutzen kann (Paddle, Cart, Squash). Strand zum Schwimmen gibt es aber nicht. Das Hotel ist sehr deutsch, deutsche Gäste, deutsches Management, viel Personal spricht Deutsch.

Die Hotelzimmer sind frisch renoviert. Matratzen sind hart (man kann aber Topper anfragen). Leider waren durchgängig Renovierungsarbeiten im Aussenbereich im Gange. Dies hatte zur Folge, dass man den gesamten Tag im Poolbereich entsprechende Einschränkungen (Geräuschkulisse, Geruchsbelästigung etc.) hatte. Ich war jetzt bereits mehrfach im Breakers und finde, dass das Essensangebot gegenüber meinem letzten Besuch schlechter geworden ist, insbesondere nicht mehr so abwechslungsreich und qualitativ hochwertig wie es in der Vergangenheit war. Auch das Publikum hat sich geändert, es waren diesmal sehr viele Leute da, die Liegen am Pool reserviert haben - das gab es früher nicht!

Idéale pour passer des vacances de plongées sous marine. House reef 5* avec accès par un beau ponton de 400m et trajets soit à pieds en balade ou par le club de plongée en tuk-tuk. Eaux très claires, propriété de l'hôtel et ses environs impeccable, service personnel au top. Un petit bémol concernant variétés du buffet et dommage de ne pas pouvoir manger du poisson frais quand on se trouve au bord de mer, mais ceux-ci ne gâche pas du tout les vacances. C'est la cinquième visite à Sima Bay, toujours un plaisir de retrouver du personnel très accueillant, souriant, heureux. Bravo Breakers!

Überzeugende Unterkunft mit sehr gutem Konzept. Der Eigentümer ist Österreicher und man merkt, dass er seinen Beruf als Hotelier liebt. Keine gleichförmige Hotelkette, sondern ein individuelles, persönliches Hotel. Sehr besonders ist der 400-Meter-Steg zum Hausriff mit wunderschönen tropischen Fischen. Auch der Kitespot beim 7-Bft-Kitehouse ist wunderbar organisiert.

Das Breakers spricht für sich durch die vielen Wiederkehrer. Wir sind auch so welche. Wir haben uns wieder so wohl gefühlt, die Entspannung am Strand und an den chill Areas, das Tauchen, Schnorcheln, Kiten, Joggen, Yoga, Massagen, das Kennenlernen netter Menschen und das Treffen alter Bekannter.
