Amazing beach front home. Upper level home offers 3800 sqft including 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths, 2 car garage and stunning rooftop deck with a fireplace. 4 bedrooms offer king size beds and one bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. Kitchen is a cook's dream & dining area has enough seating for everybody in your party. Sunset Beach sits within a green belt of non-metered overnight public parking. Typically parking all around the home at all times of the year. Book your perfect family getaway.

Sunset Beach is the most northern portion of Huntington Beach and is a wonderful one-mile long “small town”, with year around events, it is close to many Southern California attractions - but nestled away on a beautiful un-crowded white sandy beach. Its name gives away our secret of breath taking sunsets and views of Catalina Island from these dream homes. Each home is approximately 6 miles from the Huntington Beach pier and just over 1 mile from the Seal Beach pier.

Sunset Beach is a beautiful, cozy beachfront community. It is located just northwest of Huntington Beach (Surf City) in Orange County, California. The two best features of Sunset beach is the fact that it is one of the widest beaches in southern California and the Green Belt that runs parallel to the beach from the northern edge of town to the southern edge of town. The Sunset Beach Green belt is great for walking, exercising or just sitting and enjoying the amazing ocean view. Since the beach is so wide and there are no beach vendors or buildings the sunset looks amazing. Sunset Beach is truly one of California’s gems. Typical local entertainment includes romantic beach walks, swimming, surfing, surf-fishing, bicycle riding, sunbathing, reading, relaxing, great restaurants, and just about any other fun activity that one can dream up.

The building consists of two individual units which rent separately. The “lower” beach level home is a 1200 sq. ft. 3-bedroom with 2-bathrooms with occupancy limit of 8 and offers exclusive use of the beach deck and can be found at https://www.vrbo.com/161720ha . The “upper” home consists of upper floors 2 & 3, occupancy limit of 12 with 5-bedrooms, 4.5-bathrooms at 3800 sq. ft. and a 3rd floor deck with outdoor fireplace, game room, pool table and shuffle board. Garage for additional parking is attached to “upper” home and is for the exclusive use of the “upper” home. Each home has entrances on opposite sides of the building, their own paths to the beach, and their own outdoor showers. The homes do not share any amenities.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property for a little over a week. You couldn't ask for a nicer location or better proximity to the beach. The view off of the top floor was to die for and the family particularly enjoyed the game room. Over all an excellent stay.

We rent a beach house almost every year for our family of 18. Everyone loved this beach house the most. Right on the beach! We loved the many levels and pool room on top for kids and teens—it really kept the noise down. We also rented the bottom unit so there was plenty of room! Loved the week!!

Oh my gosh.................where to start. Everything was just so beautiful, relaxing and wonderful. We could not ask for anything finer. Gorgeous view, super clean home and stocked very well. Stunning views and great layout of the home

This vacation was for my dad's 60th birthday. Our family ranges from infants to adults and it was perfect for all. The top floor was our favorite place to hang out, with the rooftop balcony and pool table for entertainment. We also loved the beach access and waking up daily to make breakfast with these beautiful views. The ceiling-to-floor windows let us watch dolphins and whales while making meals together. It was magical. This was by far the best birthday trip my dad could have asked for. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Just walking into the property I was blown away! The gigantic picture window looking out onto the Pacific Ocean just took my breath away. Tons of room for everyone, modern amenities, furnished rooftop deck - I really couldn't ask for more, was definitely pleased!

Wonderful Family Vacation

The location of the property could not be any better and the house was great for our group. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms... with a great roof top deck and game room. The house was walking distance to all sorts of restaurants. Just a few things to keep in mind... There are a LOT of stairs, so be mindful if you have a toddler. With the exception of pepper & salt shakers and coffee filters, if you want to cook you will need to bring EVERYTHING. There is no butter, oil, etc. Bring your shampoo, there is none provided. The 10am checkout is a bit tough for a large group, especially since they ask you to run the dishwasher and put the dishes away (we had time to run it but not put anything away before we had to leave). We would definitely come back.

Fabulous house and location

Although my 6 girlfriends and I live within 6 to 25 miles away from this house, what a fabulous staycation. The house is even better than the pictures. Lots of bathrooms, comfy beds, and the beach and views can't be beat. We had plans to walk to Captain Jacks restaurant for dinner one night, but canceled because we could just not leave our view. We walked down to Sea Legs Grill and listen to some music on the beach, and other than other walks on the beach, we could not leave this house, the upper deck, or the sand below. For those of you not familiar with the beach here, it is very walkable for miles. Yes, there are stairs in the house, and 5 of us are active 70-year-olds, and it was little of a workout after 3 days, but not a problem. High end features, beautiful molding (although baseboards could use a little touch up paint), viking stove, stainless steel handrails with glass on stairways, nicely decorated, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Salty Hair and Sandy Toes

I think this is one of only a few ocean front neighborhoods in SoCal that doesn't have a boardwalk separating the property and sand... VERY COOL! Because we're a large family, we appreciated the number of bedrooms available under one roof. Speaking of roof, the upper deck is fantastic for morning coffee and a newspaper read, though most of us couldn't take our eyes of the ocean. I think I read the front page three times and still don't know what it said. But that's the point of a place like this... mental detox. The neighborhood amenities are great: grocery and Starbucks on the other side of the PCH, and other bars and local restaurants also within walking distance. Stand up paddle board rentals also on the other side of the PCH for a paddle around the Huntington Harbor (a local told me they have a fun Christmas boat parade on the water). Well worth the time off and a great value versus a hotel. We'll be back.

Amazing Home!

This property is amazing for large groups/family. Just be ready to get a leg work out. Multi level gorgeous home. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. Super short walk to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards. Did not use the grill or fireplaces. Walking distant to multiple restaurants. If you want coffee on the top deck in the mornings, i would recommend bringing in the cushions in at night. They get super wet. Definitely will book again. Quick break down of the levels: Floor 1: front door and garage. Floor 2: 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath (1 king, bunk room) Floor 3: kitchen/living with powder room and King en suite Floor 4: 2 bedroom 2 bath (1 king room with 1 en-suite, 1 king room, 1 full bath) Floor 5: game room / roof top deck.
