Deer Lodge is perched on the side of a fishing lake with lovely views out of both sets of French doors. There are many local walks from your door and a fantastic cafe/restaurant onsite. The food and service is excellent as is Becky the host. She could not do enough to make our stay wonderful. The location, is as peaceful as it gets and if you or the other half love fishing then this is the place as there are numerous lakes full of fish as well as a fully stocked tackle and bait shop onsite.

What can I say it was amazing, had a lovely 5 days plenty of walks for my spaniel pup. Lodge was beautiful and very clean. First time fresh water fishing was very relaxing. All the lakes and surrounding areas well maintained. We would like to thank Beccy so friendly and welcoming. 3 beers chilled in the fridge when we arrived was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and will go again

A fantastic break on a fantastic lake and we’ve already booked to go back next month.
A fantastic break on a fantastic lake and we’ve already booked to go back next month.
Lots to do in the area when you’re not sitting on your own peg fishing for spectacular looking fish.
No matter your fishing method, you will catch a lot of fish.
