"The Ibis Motel has very friendly staff who were knowledgeable and helpful about the surrounding area's highlights. The Ibis's position on Hunter Street is close to the Newcastle Harbour and local pubs. The land is flat and easy to walk to different highlights. room was quiet and clean."

"Great spot, we had a front room with views of the bay, room was clean and tidy and reasonably comfortable. People in room next door seemed to be constantly smoking which drifted our way regularly (not the property fault as it was not allowed….in hindsight we should have told reception at the time). Access to pools and spas was a welcome addition to the dips in the bay just metre from our door."

"Amazing communal work/lounge spaces. Comfortable, high-tech pod-style rooms with quality fixtures and fittings. Deliciously comfortable bed. Not thrilled about 35 dollar nightly fee to park in their own building, but I guess that is the way things are going...."
