"We stayed one night at Alhambra B&B Guest House di Charme and had a very good stay. We received a friendly welcome and a tour of the property when we arrived, and everything was easy from that point on. The property is small, green, and well maintained, and the whole place feels calm, private, and well cared for. The saltwater pool was the highlight. It has underwater jets plus two jets above the water line: one wide jet and one narrow jet with strong, concentrated pressure. The salt water was pleasant to swim in and the jets made it very easy to relax. The rooms are simple and comfortable, with everything needed for a short stay, and the showers have good water pressure, which is not always the case in this type of accommodation. Breakfast was great and matched the standard of the rest of the property. One practical note for future guests: staff are not permanently on site. When we arrived we were unsure how to get in, but we pressed the door buzzer and a member of staff drove over within a few minutes, welcomed us, and opened the gate so we could drive through to the private, gated car park, which had plenty of space. After that everything ran smoothly, so new arrivals should simply expect to use the buzzer. Overall this is a peaceful and well-run B&B with an excellent pool and a great breakfast. It suited a one-night stop very well, and one night was not long enough to make full use of the pool and garden. We would happily return for a longer stay."

"This was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Tucked away at the foot of Etna, the views are absolutely beautiful - both of the coast and the volcano - and the whole place felt so peaceful. The hotel itself is gorgeous, but it’s the little details that make it so special - it has a real Sicilian charm about it and is very picturesque. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean and beautifully kept, with a wonderful shower and a super comfy bed. What really made the stay special was Sara and her family. I have genuinely never felt so welcomed at a hotel. We were made to feel less like guests and more like friends who had come to stay - such a warm and polite host who went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Sara’s mother also makes the most wonderful homemade cakes and jams to complement breakfast, eating these, sitting outside on the sunny patio... amazing! We were genuinely sad to leave. In fact, this is somewhere I know I'll return to again and again. If you’re visiting Sicily and looking for somewhere peaceful, beautiful and genuinely special, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly!"
Charming villa with pool, blossoming garden & view

"We stayed for one week in Giovanni’s beautiful villa. We are a family of six, with two adult children and two children aged 12 and 13. The large swimming pool was perfect for cooling off during the hottest hours of the day, and we spent a lot of time there. The spacious terrace with its outdoor kitchen was fantastic—we cooked many of our meals there. There was plenty of both sun and shade on the terrace, so everyone could find their perfect spot. The house itself suited us perfectly. Having three bathrooms meant there was never a queue in the mornings, and the air conditioning in every room ensured that everyone slept comfortably. Giovanni was an exceptional host. Since we arrived late on our first evening, he kindly arranged pizza and drinks for us. He also let us taste both his white and red wines, and they were delicious! He even helped us figure out the motorway toll system ????. He truly is a super host! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your wonderful home!"

"Ein großzügiges Haus mit sehr schönem Grundstück in toller Lage, sehr nette Vermieter und Kontaktpersonen, die sich schnell zurückmelden und schöne Unternehmungen empfehlen können. Riesiger Pool mit flachem und tiefem Bereich. Klassische italienische Ausstattung im ganzen Haus, der obere Bereich könnte/sollte mal renoviert werden. Für die Terrasse wäre vielleicht ein großer Tisch für mindestens 8 Personen besser geeignet.Wir hatten in Familie mit 8 Personen eine tolle Zeit und nehmen ein bisschen sizilianische Gelassenheit mit nach Hause!"

"Great location, house is in beautiful surroundings and with great views. Clean, cosy and quiet. Hosts Mario and Angela are very nice and very helpful, communication was good and we didn't had any problems. Would definitely book and stay again. Great views of Etna, which we were lucky to watch in evenings and mornings as it was active while staying there. So lucky, thank you again for everything Mario and Angela, it was pleasure to stay at your home and meet you. All the best from Jacek, Gosia and Gabi."

"Room was fair size and clean but walls are in need of painting, grounds are in need of repair and cleaning all around, property does not look like pictures at all, staff at front desk are extremely helpful and nice even helped with our luggage since no elevator, no pool and no restaurant Neighbour hood is not desirable Our first time in Sicily and I feel like expedia should remove the pictures of restaurant and pool Carpets in hallways very dirty looks like not enough staff Only good things were sfaff at front desk I feel first part of my vacation is ruined"
