"The room was basic and appeared to have been made up in a hurry - wastebin liner not fitted to allow waste to be deposited and no teaspoons. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. There was evidence of repair work in the bathroom where different tiles had been poorly fitted - but it was clean and functional. The pizza served at dinner was as good as you would get anywhere in mainland Italy - obviously fresh and piping hot. Breakfast was excellent, a very good selection to serve all tastes, hot food hot and a good selection. Friendly and attentive staff, although a call to reception went unanswered for some while during a busy check-in period. The current drought conditions didn't show off the gardens to their full potential and paved walkways had quite a number of loose slabs."

"The hotel has a beautiful view and is very clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Special thanks to the restaurant staff, who provided excellent service, especially during breakfast. They were attentive and made sure guests had a pleasant dining experience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel."
