"I called the night before my arrival and was told that I would have to walk from the bus station to the hotel. It was not easy as uphill and I had two bags. When i arrived ( rather hot amd bothered), the receptionists said I should have called them to pick me up! Once checked in, I called reception three times and room service (there is no mini bar) and no k e picked up. I was told the phone system was not working (although they did get it operating). "Staff was friendly and helpful. The common area was nice and accommodating. Luggage room had locks to secure your luggage in case you arrive early or need to depart later. The espresso machine was very very nice for us to get our drinks 24/7!! We were so happy that there's an elevator all the way to the 6th floor where our room was. The roof terrace was one flight of stairs up from there and it gave us a nice view of Old Town Bern. Highly recommend staying here. "
