"It was a beautiful place, lovely to relax in, service was excellent, love the gardeners, love the llamas (or alpacas - unclear), lovely jacuzzi. Could fit twelve people or six alpacas in the jacuzzi and still have room to do laps. Unfort we were incredibly incapable of temperature regulation (possibly our fault). The dome became a whole greenhouse during the day and outside was somehow too cold unless you were in the jacuzzi. Also the drinking water situation was a challenge - BYOW. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Sierra Sacred Valley, it turned out to be the perfect choice to acclimatize to the high altitude. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, they were genuinely concerned about my altitude sickness (which wasn't that severe, but maybe I looked worse than I felt) and offered some remedies. Luis told us all about the area, a lot you wouldn't get from tourist guides, and also took us on a lovely hike up the mountain behind us. The food in the restaurant was great, though certainly some dishes are better than others, and there really isn't much of a need to go out. The llamas are such a nice touch, something about having them around induces relaxation a peaceful feeling. We intend to return to Peru, the Sacred Valley and Sierra!"

"The sky dome is incredible. The views are breathtaking in the daytime and evening. The family are very welcoming and knowledgeable. The food is delicious. We did an alpaca and llama walk to an inca site which was a memorable experience."
