Sweet Delight: Tiny Cabin by the Great Smoky Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"Very close to some nice trails. Tiny, perfect for a little weekend. As pictured, there is no stove or full kitchen. Just a microwave, coffee machine, and mini fridge (no freezer). Cute little tv with streaming services. Shower is a standing one person shower. We went when it was colder and they had a space heater, but the bathroom was very cold in the morning lol (just put on some socks). It had AC (didn't try it of course since it was chilly). Cosby in general was super nice, very out of the way, trails weren't crowded. Nice small town and of course super beautiful. We went to Maddron Bald Trail and there's some gorgeous streams. Anywho, not fancy or anything but if you're just planning on going out and hiking, it's a nice little spot especially for the price. My stay was about 210 total for 2 nights, so super affordable even without a second person like in my case. "

"We LOVED our time at Moonlight Ridge and can’t wait to come back. There’s so much to do (hiking, walking, near by park) while also staying away from the really busy tourist spots! Communication with owner was the best we’ve seen since using Vrbo. The highlight of our stay was a beautiful black bear that visited our last day walking right by the deck (while we were safely inside, ha)! "
Train Caboose w/ Upscale Amenities Minutes to Waynesville & Asheville
10/10 Excellent
"Great spot for a couple or a small family with a little kid (especially a train-obsessed toddler!). Fantastic location with easy access to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Pisgah Forest, Waynesville, and Asheville. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Great rental!!"
"Would definitely stay here again. Quiet. Deck with hot tub out back. BBQ grill out front. Everything we needed pan and dishes wise to cook a meal and make smoothies. We enjoyed playing a game of pool and pac man on the console. There’s no Keurig but there is a coffee pot. The water pressure was great too! I would recommend bringing your own pillow if you like a thicker type pillow. "
Foot of the Smokies, quiet wooded paradise. Gatlinburg Pigeon Forge
10/10 Excellent
"Wife and I had a great stay at this clean cabin. Host Laurie communicated with us way beforehand and many times during our stay. We enjoyed the HotTub beside the stream. It was nice to hear the stream as you are relaxing in HotTub while looking up at the stars and moon. The canon was extremely clean, had plenty of towels and stocked with all essential items needed for stay. "
