We stayed for one night before flying home out of SJO. The hotel exceeded our expectations. An absolutely gorgeous gem in San Jose with beautiful charm, rooms and an amazing restaurant and amenities.

Barceló San José
Very nice pool area. Lunch and dinner food wasn’t great and a little pricey. Breakfast was very good though. Rooms were very nice, but weren’t stocked with any towels. Room service took over 1.5 hours before we gave up on waiting.

Our bed was super comfy, the AC was quiet and efficient. Breakfast was quite good. Proximity and convenience to airport was great and shuttle drivers were very kind and accommodating. Definitely recommend.
