"Loveley property to visit in March. Fanning Spring State Park is nearby and just a short travel to surrounding springs. The cottage and property is an excellent place for birding, kayaking and relaxing….everything I needed and very clean. If your going hoping to see Manatees, shoot for mid to late January and February. Unfortunately, I arrived early March and missed them by a week. "

"They no longer have a spa. This is a very old place, while the rooms were clean and orderly, they're very outdated. But that is part of the charm. The restaurant however is excellent. Great food at a very reasonable price."

"I visited with a friend to do some fishing. The house was very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The host was so accommodating, inviting us to use the property as if it was our own. His dock is the nicest on the entire river! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thanks Scott!"

"The place is very run down , the people running it are rude to say the least , the few people who were staying there were unsavory, we did not feel safe there or feel comfortable leaving our vehicle unattended. We asked for a refund and were rudely refused . Would never recommend anyone to stay . "
