The Neighborhood:
Horseshoe Bay is an amazing community located in the Texas hill country and is about 1 hour from Austin, 2.5 hours from Houston and 3 hours from Dallas. One of the highlights is certainly Lake LBJ, as it is one of only 2 constant level lakes in the area. But Horseshoe Bay, has so much more to offer. There are over 8 golf courses within 15 miles. Fredericksburg and all the hill country vineyards are within an hours drive of the property. Horseshoe Bay Resort has become a large draw with fun events and concerts as well as weddings. Marble Falls is 15 minutes away and has a lot of the fun restaurants, bars and night life.
Getting Around:
A car is the preferred method of transportation in the Texas hill country and Horseshoe Bay. A boat is also a method of transportation used at this property.

- Pets are allowed with written permission only. There is a maximum of 2 pets, and unfortunately cats are not allowed at all. The Pet Fee is Non-Refundable and is $175.39 (taxes included) per stay. Any pets or animals brought onto the property without approval will be subject to a $500 dollar penalty. Please keep your pet on a leash at all times other than inside the home in accordance with city ordinance.
- The primary guest (booker) must be at least 25 years old at the time of booking. Additionally, a guest aged 25 or older must be present at the property throughout the entire stay.
- Please avoid using glass tableware or glass bottles near the swimming pool.
- Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am, please be mindful of these restrictions

Great home. We stayed 2 weeks with friends. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor setup. We would stay again. The host was there to take care of us with any of our concerns and was very willing to help us when needed. We availed ourselves of some of the concierge services and that was a great experience as well. We were able to relax and just enjoy the time.
We had such a fun time staying at this beautiful waterfront property! The kids had so much fun playing in the pool and lake. The trees provided great privacy and shade. We enjoyed this property so much for our group! Will come back!
We had three couples, and the four-bedroom layout was perfect. House and furnishings were very adequate. We really enjoyed the pool with partial shade for a good portion of the day. The couple of small maintenance issues which arose were corrected quickly and completely with good communication throughout. We would certainly stay here again.
Wonderful stay with college friends. Great pool and access to the lake. We would stay again. My only suggestion would be to update some of the patio furniture and chairs by the lake. We would stay again!

We loved this property! Beautiful views and the house was gorgeous! The pool area needed to be cleaned up a bit more for guests and the fire pit really needs to be replaced for this type of higher priced property, but those are my only recommendations!

Beautiful home for our large family group of 12 adults. We loved the pool and boat lift onsite. The home is spacious and well appointed. We had a couple of small issues upon check in that were addressed quickly. All in all, it was a great stay!

Overall the stay was good, however….
We did have some negatives. This listing says the boat dock is unavailable related to debris in the water, I reached out to verify (before booking) I was told it was available and clean. It was farrrrr from usable!
If brining a boat there are no cleats. The lift is unusable in the current state and with the current maintenance or lack there of I wouldn’t trust it. You cannot park your boat trailer in the driveway even if attached to your vehicle. Closest ramp is 15 minutes.
The carpets need some cleaning stains everywhere. The chairs around the fire pit were broken (additional broken chairs are thrown to the side of the The pool bubbler and water feature doesn’t work.
The handle on the front door is loose and it moves all over.
Master bedroom door won’t close or lock. The patio furniture needs replaced or TLC at the least. (The patio furniture that is there that has clearly been broken was thrown to the side of the boat dock). The house has potential to be soo great but definitely falls short.
Great location, the pool was nice and shaded a lot of the day and the house is beautiful. Only reason I gave it a 4 is bc of the boat dock not being available and ALL of the maintenance stuff the needs attention and clearly isn’t.

This is the first time we have stayed at this property and we will be coming back! The house is lovely, perfect for entertaining and comfortable for guests. And a great outdoor area. We used the boat slip and lift. Everything was operational which had not always been our experience at other properties. We were made to feel welcome and look forward to the next stay!
