"The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. There is a difference however between old and old/dirty/unkept. The floor was covered in dead bugs, spiderwebs, and dust. There was someone’s old food in n the mini fridge. Also, we are...

Top Horse Cave Hotel Reviews

Red Roof Inn & Suites Cave City

8/10 Good

"Clean, bed was comfortable and the price was right!"

Sleep Inn & Suites Cave City

8/10 Good

"The rooms were large and comfortable. Our room had an in room hot tub, which we unfortunately didn’t stay long enough to use. The room had a nice mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was large and well- lit with unique walk in shower with great water pressure and hot water. The beds were comfortable with a selection of pillows. Nice tv with easy to use remote. They had a tiny indoor pool, which was no matter to us, but some reviewers seem very bothered by! The free breakfast was very small with limited selection: again, not a deal breaker for me. Overall it was a nice, clean comfortable place to spend the night on a quiet highway, Just off the interstate."

10/10 Excellent

"I enjoyed my stay at this spotless, easy-to-find and pretty cabin! It looked brand new, with everything functioning well and with really good lighting. My dogs and I walked over to the barn and got to meet the friendliest horses, cows, and a couple of farm dogs! The cabin was spotless and well-appointed. The kitchen had lots of cookware and there was even a washer and dryer! Best of all, the hostess was very welcoming and responded right away to my questions. I felt very safe there as a single traveler. And it’s close enough to town and grocers for meals. We hope to return someday!"
